The Plank House provided excellent service, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu.When my friend’s pasta came out cooler than she’d prefer the manager was quick to recognize the issue and apologize. She promptly suggested a solution and even offered a complimentary dessert as a gesture of goodwill. My meal was perfect. The staff members were also quick to refill our drinks and check on us throughout the meal.
We had the same waitress we had Christmas eve and she was excellent. There when needed but not there when we didn't. Loved the parmesan halibut. The pear desert was great too. The choice of half bottle wine from Alexander Valley was wonderful too.

The Plank is a nice restaurant. We found it too dark with really low lighting. Started with the grilled oysters. Not good at all. Seemed to have an off putting taste that seemed really fishy or something. The presentation was good though. The time between the app and the salad was way too short as we hadn't even finished half the oysters. Maybe to take our thoughts off how nasty they were. Some were very chewy too.
