They are always impressed and want to go back. We have made it our new spot to celebrate life events. “Hing's is authentic as it gets in the Portland area. The atmosphere is an older restaurant, which I really like, it's nostalgic for sure.

The food is fantastic, too much on the plate so you will need a to-go box. I had butterfly shrimp that are dipped in egg, not flour so they're gluten-free, with a thin strip of bacon inside and quick fried. DELICIOUS! plated with sauteed snow peas and onions in a light white sauce. Potstickers are large and handmade. No frozen potstickers from the Asian market freezer bag at Hing's, baby! The steamed rice is moist and separated, not overcooked and sticky

Service is great. Happy to see you, listen and answer questions happily. I never felt rushed or forgotten. Same every time I have been to Hing's including take-away service. Consistent, this wasn't a "good night", typical service.

Everything on the menu is fantastic, cooked correctly, not over oily, not over-sauced. Noodles al dente, just a little chewy, but soft.

Are ya hungry yet? Go to Hing's!Your mouth will be happy, and you'll be glad you did. Your date will be impressed you know this place.

“This place was great for Happy Hour! We sat in the bar which was OK. Upon leaving I saw the restaurant and will sit there next time for the view!! The service was spectacular!! Waitress/Bartender came to our table probably every 15 minutes to check on us,,, and it was about half full. Food was GREAT! Had the Happy Hour Burger (1/4#) because the regular burger (1/2#) felt like too much. Had several appetizers which were yummy. 100% will be going back soon.“

“Had a delivery here Sunday 08/08/21 on a partial load. Soon as I arrived I was greeted and told to call a number for the receiving office to get assigned a door. Plenty of room to dock and then some and it took them under 10 minutes to unload the product. 10/10 experience would definitely come back“

“I’ve been going to Powell’s Seafood for 35 years and it’s our family “go to” place. I married into a Chinese family and my in-laws knew the owner and wait staff. However it changed owners a few years ago, so just not the same. Still good, but prices went up substantially and just doesn’t have the pull it once did.“
