“We were so happy to discover Tidal Raves! Even though it was night and we weren't able to enjoy the views of the ocean, the place had a classy and comfortable ambiance, with good vibes and good acoustics.

The food was delicious. My wife tried both the salmon chowder and clam chowder and loved them (definitely the best she's had of several restaurants in the region), and I had the Wagyu burger. Delicious!

We appreciated the kind service from Jesus as well. Overall a great experience, and we look forward to next time.

“Newport on a Tuesday night. We drove to five restaurants before finding Zach’s Bistro. Although He was sold out of almost everything, we were able to get the most amazing dinner ever! Even my five-year-old grandson loved the food. I had the fish cakes, with artichoke and dill. Oh my goodness! It was amazing. My daughter had perfectly cooked salmon dinner. Desert was an awesome chocolate, berry and browned marshmallow. I am so happy we stumbled on this fine dining restaurant on the edge of Nye Beach area in Newport Oregon!“

They make all sorts of homemade baked good that look incredible, like the variety of sourdough starter wholewheat cinnamon rolls, homemade hamburger buns, taco chips, and donuts by order! “We had dinner at Mo’s 2 nights in a row because we liked it so much.This 80 year old restaurant has it down. Their halibut and Alaskan cod is lightly breaded and grilled to perfection.. it couldn’t possibly be any better. Our delightful server Mackenzie went the extra mile taking care of us. “Today blew my mind away!! We have been going here for years. And the last time we went (right after covid it was not that great so today I was hesitant) but what astounded me, our server (sorry don’t know name) invited us and our dogs in. WHAT!! We were there for my Valor’s (Husky) last coast trip ever! Any day he will no longer be with us. This place he remembers as we have sat outside on the bench (cold/hot) and ate our food. He loves it. Plus on top of it, when she found out she had a hamburger patty cooked for him (no charge), even after he got snippy when she tried to clean up water. (But that is his training to keep my circle open and not let anyone distract him or me plus he’s 13 hard of hearing and loosing sight), Anyways she was so fantastic, and OMG THE FOOD I REMEMBER IS BACK. THE CLAM CHOWDER BEST EVER! Cod was so moist and delicious, husband ordered that mixture like a stew with a bunch of different meats. Holy cow right on spot. Even the bread was perfect. Most of all my dogs loved it, they were well behaved, even had a couple say “oh I have to sit next to those gorgeous puppies”, then heard our story and we cried. At the end our waitress said “can your son hold Valor so I can give you a hug?” She gave me the biggest hug ever, so did another customer. (Btw she said as long as dogs are well behaved and not mean they are welcome SO COOL)

This was such an amazing/emotional experience! The best one yet at this Chowder Bowl that I was hesitant about. I am so happy and glad she invited us in. I will definitely be going back in memory of Valor with Penny. Ready to have fantastic service and food.

“A great buffet, lots of salad choices, 3 chickens, 6 pizzas choices, fruits, pastas and friendly people work there. Great view of the ocean and plenty of parking. 2 different visits lunch and dinner so telling friends and going back. Prices are good.“
