“Excellent restaurant! We went twice while recently visiting. Always greeted and seated right away, even when we were kind of beach tousled. The place gets very busy, so I'm sure larger parties had to wait a little while. The service was excellent. All around. The first night, last Wednesday, we had a wonderful lady waiting on us, who was so thoughtful as to offer us a seat by the window after the place emptied out some. Thursday night was bar service, excellent, too. The food was beautiful and so delicious! Fish and chips had lightly battered and delicately crunchy fish, and tasty fries. The green curry may have been the vest of my life! Beautiful presentation, perfectly cooked asian veggies, delicious sauce, and the shrimp and fish were cooked delicately. Highly recommend! Second night of fish tacos and seafood pasta were equally excellent. It's not surprising why this place is constantly busy. Great team and food!“

The shrimp were a bit firm but the sauce was delicious! My fiance loved her steak. Definitely coming back again, but probably not trying the seafood pasta !“

We all had different dishes: the salad rolls, stir fry, pad Thai, and a curry and we sampled it all. Then had the incredible mango sticky rice! “Hearing that this was a fun place, we decided to eat here as we stayed in Newport . For a Friday early evening the place was busy but not overly crowded. The food was amazing and the portions were big. You got your money's worth here. The staff was very friendly. “Nothing happens when I click on the photo, it won’t let me load a photo of my black slimy translucent lettuce! The chalet is our go to restaurant for breakfast and lunch however, today I had a salad. It looked great, until I started eating it and got black, slimy, lettuce, and even the iceberg lettuce was mostly soggy. Some of the iceberg lettuce was even translucent, looking as if it had been frozen at one time. I would be humiliated to serve a disgusting salad like this one and not offering to replace the salad or remove the cost from the bill.“

Parking: The parking are has a small number of spots in front of store and can be tricky to get in and out of. However, there is a large parking lot behind it that is easier to get in and out of.“

“Solid four star stop. This is the distinguished Rogue brewery HQ, It is a very industrial spot, you enter weaving through large brewery equipment. There is an upstairs 21+ bar, and full restaurant. It gives off local business, 90's, pirate crowsnest vibes. Great view over the Newport harbor if you can snag a window seat.

What gets the extra star is the merch and beer ship. We've been here 4 times. Every time the have cases of discounted beer for sale on pallets outside the mech room. Merch is decent but stop here and grab a $15 flat (24 total beers) of some high quality booze. We spend about $100 in booze here each stop and lid up our garage beer fridge. No taxes, and HEAVILY discounted top quality beer.“

“We decided to sit outside overlooking the golf course. Our waitress Kay was very attentive. We ordered bread and butter to start and my husband had the maple old fashioned. They had a special we decided to share (Seafood Medley) and it did not disappoint. Everything had great flavor and texture. Would definitely dine here again.“
