I was always skeptical of this place because it is not 100% vegan, they just have a separate vegan menu so things could get mixed up & I feel it is disingenuous to advertise as a vegan kitchen when it isn't.
We tried it last night and it was the best Thai food I've had in Portland. Salad rolls, red curry and peanut stir fry were all excellent. Fried tofu was really good!

A little confusing since this is what seems to be two restaurant menus in one restaurant. The one van page on the menu is DeeDees. But this was my favorite meal I had in Portland. The Panang curry was amazing. Perfectly spiced and bursting with flavor. I added some broccoli as well. Love our waiter and the vibe. Would LOVE to come back and try more.

Dee Dee Vegan Thai is delicious! I've worked with them for catering for an event the last two weeks and they've been so sweet. They were able to work with our budget and even delivered for us, which was so helpful. Thank you to Boos and the staff at Dee Dee Vegan Thai/Ladda Thai House!! We look forward to ordering again!

Inside, the interior is equally charming, creating a warm environment. The staff are attentive and always ready to help, offering great customer service by refilling waters and clearing plates promptly. This neighborhood restaurant is open late, making it convenient for a casual night out. The food was amazing, with excitement. The noodles were perfect, and the tofu was perfectly fried. One of the best drunken noodles ever had. This place looks like a Nintendo DS restaurant game down to the music. The service was also 100%. Friendly workers and the atmosphere was very inviting. The workers were polite and professional and inviting.
