I’ve been on the hunt for authentic Thai since moving back to Portland a couple years ago, happy to say I’ve found it! I’m allergic to shellfish and they made accommodations easily.
This was my first time at Full Moon Thai, and although I enjoyed it, I cannot say I had a faultless experience.To be fair, I had come as part of a very large group, so I want to acknowledge that this would likely strain the staff. However, the service I experienced left something to be desired. We had originally ordered the chicken pad thai, but we were served the surprise pad thai, which has different noodles and protein. I absolutely love the food here. One of our go-tos for takeout. And ordering online is great because its easy to add or take away ingredients - like add more broccoli or no tomatoes, please. The restaurant is divided into a few sections- a counter area where you pick up to go orders and the dining room has been divided into dining and storage which doesn't feel the most comfortable to me.
