“Had dinner for the first time at slide inn tonight. The service and food was simply excellent and we could not recommend this place enough. Everything is made from scratch and tastes like it. Will definitely be frequenting this place on a regular basis.“

“When you lived in Germany for a while and enjoyed the traditional foods, anything you purchased as packaged foods taste like cardboard boxes and improper flavored food. When you have foodies in the families, there is no way around harsh criticisms when the foods don't match the traditional tastes, even with touches of fusions.
No worries about this place. Come for the foods, stay to enjoy the gathering, and smothered by great services. The foods satisfied the heavy critics of our families that know the great tastes of traditions. There were some lacking compared in the old style cooking, such as smothered mushroom and sauce that piled high over the food. We all understand the cost that associate with the extras, but it's still a small missing mark of the traditional topping over food. The seasoning is on point, but we wonder, why ketchup for the fries instead of the seasoned mayo like the good old days?
But the beers. Oh mercy! We wish I live locally to drink all the selections of fantastic beers.“

“We love Urban German for its authentic cooking (wish pork knuckle was an option year round!) and German beers. Our whole family loves it! The youngest is especially giddy when she gets an old mustard mug for her root beer, too!“

“The Paprika Schnitzel was delicious. The only real knock on this restaurant is everything was an upcharge. Do you want to replace your mushrooms with seasonal mushrooms for 3 dollars. The one that was a little hard for me was when I was able to swap an item for the soup and it was presented as a small upcharge but when the bill came it was 4.25 per soup. One shared appetizer, 2 entrees and upcharged soup ended up over 100 bucks with no drinks“

“Auf unserem Road Trip haben wir natürlich auch einen Besuch beim PDX Dönerländ gemacht. Und wir können dies nur weiter empfehlen. Der Döner war super lecker und die Besitzer total freundlich und haben sich auch Zeit für einen Klönschnack mit uns genommen.“

Hubby had the Kolsch. Good stuff. Then a pale ale.
Multiple food vendors. Thai, Venezuelan, Mexican, Indian, Cuban. Had the chicken saag and tacos. Fresh and tasty.“

“Food was great. Our server was extremely friendly and inviting from the moment we sat down to after we left. The restaurant is quiet, cozy and beautifully decorated. We brought our kids and they even loved the food. I was just surprised how empty it was for a Saturday brunch. Would definitely go again and try their dinner menu.“

“What a great place! We stopped here for lunch finally and will definitely be back.
I first discovered this place after having visited Germany and looking for good schnitzel here at home. The hours are a lil weird with our schedule, but we finally made it! This place is as close as I've found to what we enjoyed over seas.
We got all 4 of the lunch schnitzels. They're half orders and a lil smaller. So, it was perfect for the three of us. The dill pickle soup is excellent and the house-made Radler... Wow! Everyone over here wants to add juice to their radlers, but in Germany they add Sprite and that's really tough to find over here for some reason... Anyway, Otto and Anita do it right.
The atmosphere was cute and homey. There was plenty of seating, but maybe not plenty of parking. We got a lil creative.
We were too full for dessert, but it looks delicious. We'll definitely be back.“
