“Stopped here a few times on our trip to Portland. A lot of their pastries are amazing. My personal favorite was their Ube cheesecake. We also tried their Japanese pancakes and they were so good. I would definitely recommend stopping in and getting a few pastries. The service was also great and the guy helping us was super friendly.“

We got the savory croissant sandwich, two of the stunning striped croissants (the colors alone are worth coming for), a veggie tart, and iced coffees — everything was absolutely delicious. The vibe is quaint and charming, exactly the kind of place you want to stumble upon. Don’t sleep on this one!“

“Had a bad experience at the coffee shop across the street so left there and came here in hopes of a better experience.

We were immediately greeted when entering despite the only lady working was busy with other customers. She was very friendly to everyone and even brought our drinks to our table.

Food: so many excellent options! We tried the raspberry rose cruffin and a matcha yuzu donut. Both were excellent and fresh! The London Fog was delicious too 🙂

Atmosphere: great location with plenty of street parking. Interior was bright, open, and clean!

Will definitely return!“

“This was my last meal on my final day in Portland, and I decided to try a Japanese sandwich shop.
The sandwiches were good overall. The egg salad was nice, though it felt like it could use a bit more mayo for a richer texture.
The yuzu cream was delicious and refreshing, but the bread itself was just okay.
The service was friendly and attentive.
Overall, a good spot to try, especially for something light to end the trip.“

“First time here and we will definitely be back again. My husband and daughter stopped in for some shave ice. Not too long after, my daughter accidentally dropped hers, leading to lots of tears. The person working came out, unbeknownst to us, with a replacement and reassurance. Thank you, it was very kind.“

“Just moved to Oregon and tried some coffee and one of the pastries and it was absolutely delicious. I absolutely recommend this place, Maddie was very nice and helpful with helping me pick out something to eat as I have never heard of the place before. I will definitely be here regularly.“

“Breakfast sandwich is delicious. However, I was alone at the counter for 5 minutes before either of the 2 people prepping mint behind the counter would ring me up. The flaps to the trash cans are quite nasty, lots of smeared food on them so grab another paper for the trays so you can throw away your trash.
Super gross.
Better off getting it to go.“
