Starbucks in Portland

“Getting a shot of cortisone at Providence, normally I wouldn't choose a Starbucks! It's here. Why not? It was one of the best made coffees I've had in a long time! Friendly staff, excellent flavor and the perfect amount of white chocolate. Don't get sick to visit, come for a coffee. You might be very suprised.“

“It's a Starbucks, but it's my favorite in downtown Portland for several reasons. It's right near Powell's Books. It's right near Deschutes Brewery. And it's pretty epic inside as well. There is plenty of seating. It's very clean. All the decorations are visually striking. You should definitely visit this Starbucks if you like Starbucks and you're in downtown Portland. Oh, there is outdoor seating as well.“

“Rush is the kindest person. I didn't want to say what she helped me with because that might open a flood gate of crazy which is the last thing I want to happen. I made an unusual request and she was happy to oblige and then she went above and beyond to fulfill my needs. I could feel the smile on her face when she answered the phone and I'm sure it'll be as big and kind as it sounds once I get there. Thank you, Rush. I previously worked at Starbucks for 14 years so believe me when I say thank you for being you!!

“I had to drop off my nephew at work today and we were early. So, today 11/05/2024 I decided to stop by this Starbucks. I don't usually buy coffee but I really needed to wake up today. I ordered a venti white chocolate mocha for myself, a caramel frap for my nephew, and he wanted a breakfast sandwich. We get to the window slide, tap, whatever to my card and it did NOT work. :( I felt horrible! Needless to say they still gave me my order and let me go. Even after I pleaded that I would come back they all still said NO! To the girl at the window & her manager I appreciate you guys and I don't care what anyone says you made my morning. I know you guys probably would have had to throw it away but to me it was still heartfelt the way you did it. You guys just had to be there to understand what I mean. Thank you! I will pay it forward and I will comeback tomorrow morning. Although you will NOT accept it I will just tip it! I'm old school and we don't like to owe people even if it is a kind gesture back in my day it would've come out my paycheck. God Bless! Peace!“

“It's just so expensive...over $6 for a venti frap. I can't afford it often, but have a gift card from Christmas. I love the lemon loaf and banana bread. Ask them to warm it up with butter. Mmm

Parking: It's a super tiny lot, so beware and don't park at the building next door or they'll tow!“

“Though Starbucks as a corporate entity needs to work on improving wages and labor practices, I do appreciate this Fremont cafe. The staff pay close attention to every customer and consistently make good drinks. There’s absolutely no pretense and overall the space welcomes all types of thirsty humans.“

“I hadn't been to this location in a few years. The updating/upgrades are quite nice. No indoor seating, but plenty of outdoor tables and, of course, the drive thru. I liked the creation of shade at the order window! My drink was crafted perfectly, too!“

“I frequent quite a few Starbucks. I never used to but I do now. I wronged this company a time or 2 throughout my addiction years ago. When I got clean I made a few living amends without speaking to my sponsor first with a manger or 2. I’m thankful they were graceful with me. I do my best to come in and purchase drinks for myself and help someone in need at times as well with Starbucks products when the time arises. It’s the least I can do for my old defects and short comings. Thank you for still allowing me to come into all of your stores and make things right as time goes by.“

“The team makes this Starbucks stand out from others. They're welcoming and make an effort to remember your name. Nice!
Side note: I go here on the weekend to write. Love that you can get a real cup and plate. I nerd out with my own knife, fork, and napkin. No waste ?“

“I went there today (4/17/24 around 4pm) and there was only one person working, but she was awesome! While doing everything by herself, she still managed to greet people as they entered and wish people a good day when they left. She has excellent customer service skills and represents the company well!“

“The store was OK. The staff seemed to give a lot of grace to the most likely unhouse patrons loitering in the store. There is limited seating with electrical access, a tight space for four to sit.
This is not a Starbucks to enjoy a working coffee. It is best for a quick stop or drive through.
The staff was very friendly.

Parking: There appeared to be an abandoned vehicle in the parking lot that was filled up like a storage container, including the drivers seat and dashboard. This made the parking lot less appealing and used up valuable customer parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: The interior through ways are tight, there is limited wheelchair seating. The disability parking space is next to an active parking lot driveway and across the parking lot some 30 feet from the building. It does not feel very safe from moving vehicle hazards.“

“There's a certain employee that works there that I always notice their car, but I've never learned who it belongs to. Their license plate stays in the mind. I actually look forward to seeing it. Almost like it's agreeing that this is a good place to get coffee every time I leave. Always so happy.

Vegetarian options: So many fruit and nut prepackaged trays.“

“Barista Eve @ the Doernbacher Children Hospital was a ray of sunshine for my otherwise gloomy day. She’s attentive and knowledgeable. Her warm smile and vibrant personality was evident. “We’re here visiting Portland from Charleston, SC. We really enjoyed that the atmosphere here was so pleasant and friendly. The gentleman that checked us out, Kyle, and as so nice and accommodating. He helped me make a black tea into a southern tasting sweet tea. Very appreciative. Even got to pet a friendly dog while we were here. Overall seems like a great spot.“

“This is a great starbucks it's probably my 2nd or maybe 3rd favorite of all the Starbucks I've been too and I have been to quite a few the people who work here are always kind and you always get helped quickly even though it's a pretty busy place they are very quick so it doesn't really seem like it, it's a very cute and comfortable space and has a great outdoor seating area with cute little birds that have a nest in the outdoor roof so that's fun and it's even just a nice place to sit, the drinks are always good I'm kinda picky about the way my favorite drink is made and they always do it right which I love it always varys from Starbucks to Starbucks but this ones great and consistent.“

“I love when you haven't had the financial means or opportunity to get your favorite drink from Starbucks and then when grocery shopping you realize there's a Starbucks inside the store, and your able to splurge. “I thought your Frappuccino’s were better 23 years ago, when I was 16. You have improved a lot since I first had an iced coffee from your company. This caramel crunch Frappuccino is the best thing I have ever tasted. Great job. It’s perfect. I have drank Dutch Bros and Dunkin’ coffee. Nothing they have compares to this cold, delicious, extravaganza. I’m a fan for life. 23 years of loyalty from me to you.“

“Kid-friendliness: When I was there, there were four or five high school kids we entered, they seem to be having a nice time and we're well-behaved. 6-8 different four or five families with kids came in, the kids were welcome, atmosphere is appropriate for kids and they have food and drinks for children

Wheelchair accessibility: I'm disabled and when we went here I was using my Walker but I also have a power wheelchair which I could easily have taken in and moved around inside comfortably. All the tables are wheelchair accessible and they have a wheelchair accessible labeled table available.“

“Honestly probably one of the best experiences I’ve had at a Starbucks. Employees were all extremely kind and very helpful. Sketchy man inside staring me down trying to get closer to me and they helped me avoid him as well. So super nice of them to even care. Love this location“

“Coffee is good here, but people who have kids here couldn’t get a full service, I mean diaper changing station in restrooms. But they still have sign that they have it in their restrooms and it has to be removed because it’s misleading people.“

“Don't get me wrong I like starbucks however if I order anything with chocolate in it I have to request only have the regular amount of chocolate syrup in it because it's just way to much and it's like drinking strait hershey syrup. They also need to carry Irish Cream and a few other flavors I'm sure others wish they carried? My husband loves Irish Cream Mocha's and it's sad they don't carry Irish Cream ? ?“

“I work the bus line that goes to Jensen Beach and the staff there is always really warm and welcoming. Even when they have told me that they’ve had a hard days because we’ve gotten close since I’m there almost every day due to work they never let it show on their face when talking to customers! They taught me how to use the app so I could get points and save my money.! And with the current economy that that’s a game changer for having treats they make fun and delicious drinks and I am so glad that I got to have these type of people on my hard days !“

“The girls on the morning crew that are usually there Sunday to Wednesday are glorious and make up for the few bad employees who are rude and pushy. I love talking with them as part of my daily morning drive-to-work ritual.

Dietary restrictions: Customization of your food or drink is easily achieved and if they are unable to accommodate your specific request they will politely and kindly tell you.

Parking: This specific Starbucks does not have an inside seating area, but you can order from a walk-up window. There is outdoor seating and they still offer free Wi-Fi.

“Great Starbucks, they are super nice, seem to love their job, great service, they know how to make their drinks fast & efficiently. Only thing I had a issue with was the fact they allowed a homeless woman in with a VERY UNTRAINED dog, it smelled, ran under peoples feet, tables, whined a lot. It was just disturbing. They have the right to ask anyone to leave & when it's an issue, would hope they'd exercise that right. Other than that, it's a great location with amazing service.“

The total time in the drive thru, including ordering and receiving the order LESS THAN 8 MINUTES, well under 3 from order to window. “West Hills Starbucks on Barnes Road, always friendly, efficient, and the drinks there are usually first-rate. Definitely enjoy it every time I go there, which isn't often, but the service and quality seems consistent. Definitely worth giving a try, if you haven't already. Best Wishes!“

“REJOICE!!!!!!!!!! 5 stars forever because the square ice still lives!!! My iced beverages are SO much better with it, versus the little nugget chunks that melt and dilute your drink immediately — gross & truly the worst to switch to in my opinion, and most other locations only have that (is it because it’s cheaper?). “Yo, so I was strolling around Portland, headed to the Lloyd Center Mall, and I stumbled upon this small Starbucks. I decided to drop in and grab a coffee, which was surprisingly affordable, only around $5. The service was quick and smooth. Oh, and they have a drive-through, so if you're in a car, you can just roll up and get your caffeine without leaving your ride. They've also got a cute little seating area outside and offer food and snack options too. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend checking it out.“

“So sometimes there hardly anyone working sometimes there's way too many . Not very good at letting the costumers who drinks are done multiple drinks from different orders were coming out once I was so confused on why I had all but 1 of my drinks and three different orders after mine were going out . “Had a meeting here. Coffee is what I expected from any SBUX. Friendly staff. Quiet early in the morning. Managed to wrap up right before the students started shuffling in for their caffeine fix before school - the line was growing as I walked out. Students and others had a line to the door by the time I pulled out of my parking spot.“

“I shop at this Fred Meyer frequently but this was my first time getting Starbucks here. The woman who made my coffee this morning was working by herself with a huge line of patrons, and did so efficiently and with a smile behind her mask. She was kind and upbeat- what a wonderful way to start my day.“

“Great Shopping Center! Everyone here is super cool, helpful, and friendly. Wonderful place to shop for groceries. Surprisingly, most everytime I've shopped here- it's been very peaceful with low volume of people in the store- Better Ease of Shopping. “I love the Starbucks inside my local Safeway on 10th and S.W. Jefferson St. It is great in many ways, but most if all is the friendliness of the start working there. I was surprised on my second trip the girl at the counter said " Hello Laura." She knew my name from my previous visit. I felt very good about going there because she remembered my name and it made me feel welcome and at home with my Local Starbucks.( The third trip she recited my drink as I started to place my order. “I could already tell that this would be the best drink I've had since working at one myself. I ordered a brown sugar shaken espresso with white mocha and vscf. It was beautifully and completely mixed and came out so quick! Buy your groceries first and get cash back to tip.‼️If you don't have a dollar to tip for a drink you should not be getting a drink‼️ These people run a great kiosk and deserve an up to date oven!
