Newport Seafood Grill

After a long walk near the river front, I stopped here for lunch with my friend. We both had pecan crusted sole over lime-flavored basmati rice and served with petite green beans seasoned and steamed perfectly. It was delicious!

This restaurant was just what we were looking for on a stopover in Bandon during our trip down the Oregon coast. We were worried they wouldn't be too enthusiast about seeing us 30 minutes before closing. We were wrong. They were very welcoming, and even seated and served a couple who arrived about 20 minutes after closing. That is really nice to see in service. I live in Oregon City, so I don't have the convenience to be able to eat here more often, or I would probably go about 3x a week!!! Great service (our waiter/ bartender was Casey?) And he had some help from a gal who was also waiting tables. We were given lots of suggestions about menu & food and we were never waiting too long for his attention if we needed more food or if we had questions.
