“I was in Newport for a week for work, and this delightful little drive-thru coffee shop was a great way to start each day.
Located near the heart of Newport, this quaint shop offers a variety of coffees, teas, Red Bull drinks, and additional flavors. There are also a handful of breakfast and healthy snacks to purchase. You can order a typical coffee drink or try one of their house specialties with delicious flavors and themes that tie back to Newport and/or the Pacific Northwest. There's something for everyone, and they even have dog treats if you bring your pups to the shop.
I was also happy to know that if you wanted to make the drinks more or less sweet they could accommodate. There are also are sugar free options. And for the sweets lovers, each coffee is topped off with a chocolate covered espresso bean.
The building itself accommodates walk-ups and drive thru. The exterior is a beautiful blue, and the interior looks clean and well kept. The staff is extremely friendly offering suggestions, describing the drinks, and doing everything in their power to ensure you leave a happy customer.
I would come back to Newport for a variety of reasons, but I would definitely come back for this coffee experience.“

“Stopped in there while on vacation to get a cup of coffee, I wasn’t sure what I wanted and both ladies were extremely kind and helpful and it was the BEST iced coffee I have ever had and one of the ladies wrote down what they made me! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in the area! If ever in the area again I will definitely stop there again!!“

“I can’t say enough good things about this place! The espresso and coffee roasts are divine. The staff make an absolutely perfect latte. I got whole beans and asked for them to be ground- and I was able to specify the coarseness. The barista was so kind and friendly, we had a great chat. She asked if we had any preference or customizations. I also found a really great bracelet for sale. This place is wonderful! I wish I lived closer, but this is on the list to visit the next time we’re in town!!“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem of a Coffee Shop!
This family-owned coffee shop is absolutely fantastic. The service is warm, friendly, and personal — they always remember my order, which makes every visit feel that much more special.
I’ve tried their lunch sack, and the sandwich was delicious, but what really shines are their basket sandwiches — fresh, flavorful, and consistently amazing. And don’t even get me started on the mocha — it's quite delicious and one can't find a better price or quality anywhere.
This place has become a regular stop for me, and every visit reaffirms why. Great food, great coffee, and even better people. Highly recommend!“

“we recently broke down in front of Bonnie's Espresso while traveling along the coast, the coffee was great and the people super nice. The tow truck could only take 1 person with them and my niece and I had no ride, I was going to try to cab but David the coffee guy said he would give us a ride into town, good coffee, good people !! We will be back ,thank you so much 😃“

“We were staying nearby and popped in for some breakfast. The person working the front was not very welcoming. She barely smiled or acknowledged us coming in the door. She was busy cleaning the counter and refilling some pastries. It was our first time there, and we thought we maybe missed "a way of doing something." Finally, my husband had to tell her that we were ready to order. We ordered two drip coffees, a bagel sandwich, and a burrito. It took a little longer than normal to get our food. This did give us plenty of time to observe the same girl do the same thing to person after person. It was not a friendly environment to walk into. After waiting almost 20+ minutes we took our food back to our hotel. There wasn't much room to sit in this place or even wait for our order. However, the food was absolutely delicious. And I would go as far as to say it was worth the wait. Just don't expect to make a quick stop if you are ordering any type of food. However, again, I will say it is worth the wait to get one of their food items!“
“This place is wonderful! GREAT staff - so friendly and welcoming! Ordered the biscuits and gravy and a hot chocolate. The biscuits and gravy were amazing! SO good and perfect for a rainy morning! The hot chocolate was delicious as well! If you're going to get coffee, you've got to come here!“

“WOW! We drove out of our way to get your famous cinnamon rolls, and they were dry and stale. My wife had never tried one and I kept bragging how good they were. We bought three that day Feb. 28, 2025. Just lost a faithful customer who drives 30 minutes out of our way.“

“Honey bee latte with caramel.
Feels like you’re sticking your face into a bee hive, that’s been smoked out with a bushel of lavender. Then go take a walk on the beach, and try to keep the sand out of your eyes and ears. I bet you can’t; And I bet you won’t regret it. God Bless. As for me I’m off to go fishing again. I’ll be back in a few weeks. Wrote a song about it called West coast country. Check it out. “We are literally the first guests in the newly renovated hotel, the Hotel Sylvia on Nye Beach, Newport OR. As a confirmed hotel junkie, I am charmed by the setting, the attention to detail, its history and the book collection! Orignally built in 1909 and operated under many names, in 1984 it was renamed the Sylvia Beach Hotel for the owner of Shakespeare & Co. in Paris. Sylvia Beach first published James Joyce’s “Ulysses”. She became his friend and an amazing bookseller. The hotel has been extensively renovated, and honors Sylvia Beach with the literary theme and the book collection. If you stay here, I can pretty much guarantee that you will find something on the shelves that will make you say “Oh, I’ve always wanted to read that!”.“
“Great place. Audrey was our barista and she was great. We stop there for coffee alot.“

“visited this very cute coffee shop on the bayfront on November 30th 2024. Zoe went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our drinks.... she overheard our conversation that I had forgotten to ask for an alternate milk, even though she had already made my drink she offered to make it again for me with coconut milk for no extra charge... thank you again Zoe for your amazing customer service!! we will definitely be going back!“

“Regardless if you're a starbucks fan or not, it's the staff that defines a business. This location is popular during the summertime, not just tourists but locals as well. But like I said, it's the staff that makes this place special. I've gotten to know them bit by bit in ordering cold brew for my spouse. Always upbeat and offering new things to try. I've witnessed a grown man yelling over a beverage talking too long. Someone stepped up and handled it like a professional. Waiting patiently for a cold brew (3 stevia and coconut milk) comes easily when you have a kind and friendly group running things. Thank you for giving my spouse and me a positive place to visit and chill people to talk with.“

“This was the nicest McDonald's I've been to in years. The manager and her staff were attentive, nice, didn't wait in line for ever. Also when you were in line 3 people noticed me and said be right there, welcome in, be right there. The restrooms were spotless, the family tables were big and roomy, the floor was clean, the trash was not overflowing, lids, straws, and napkins stocked. Very nice, clean, kid friendly (play place, bring socks to play) and atmosphere here.“

“I always stop to get a Decaf Pourover to enjoy with my Pecan Pie Tart from Dede's Bakery, first thing at the Newport Farmers Market. This decaf blend is rich and flavorful, and a plus is having the choice of Agave syrup for a lower glycemic touch of sweetness.“
