“I moved to Bend nearly 2 years ago and before I even moved, I was looking up the best beers/saisons/sours/drinking establishments and found Funky Fauna on many lists.

So I swung by, drank a couple of their offerings and loved the whole experience.

The taproom is cozy, eclectic, and welcoming.
The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging.
The drinks are exactly what I'd expect from small-batch saisons: "weird" combinations that all work very well together.

Joining their mug club was a must after that first visit. I don't make it up to Sisters very often (it's not that far, it's just that I'm still exploring everything the area has to offer and my home base is Bend), but I almost always stop in when I am in town.

“I love the Sisters Coffee house , been stopping in for years. The "lodge atmosphere" is wonderful . I prefer to sit upstairs and people watch ... I ordered a dirty chai Latte, they use Metolious chai , which is unique and wonderful! Always a perfect cup ! They have a gift area with local art and t-shirts, caps, coffee mugs etc , a nice selection ! The staff is so very kind and the restrooms are clean ams spacious.”

“Definitely one of the best spots in Central Oregon. We love stopping in for a bite with our kids in tow or catching an awesome concert. Most recently 38 Special. The food carts offer a nice variety so everyone can find something they want to try. Never had a bad meal there and the staff had always been great. The new Annex is awesome as well and worth checking out. They have done a great job of getting some good music talent in there which make a great date night spot for us. Highly recommend General Duffy’s.”

“A chain of Phili Cheese Steak stores, with one in Portland and West Linn. This is the only one I've eaten at so far.
What impressed me very deeply was that the clerk who took our order was very, very kind and made us feel like we were at home. I hope the boss can cherish this employee. I ordered the signature Cheese Steak. I thought the meat and cheese were delicious, but the bread was not fried properly. It felt like it was just slightly heated in the oven, which even made the inside of the bread feel wet instead of dry. of. But overall it's delicious, but it's just not as good as expected. I'm not from Philadelphia, but I've seen some great cheese steaks that are fried with butter until crispy.”

“This afternoon I stopped into the Dutch Bros in Sisters. Asked for a Large Hot Kicker and a Dutch Pup I was struggling with my phone and had cameras in the passenger seat that almost fell to the floor and swung around to get the Dutch Pup to Jovi and Misplaced my Wallet. After looking for it, could not locate the Barista said don't worry about it, the order is on us. Wow so amazing!! Alot of Places would

“We love stopping in at the taphouse to catch a game on tv. What we really love is on nice days we can sit on the patio to watch the game with our dog. The food is great with options for everyone. Make sure to check out their specials menu for seasonal specials. The halibut ceviche is delicious.”

“Our favorite place to stop for a burger, milkshake and ice cream. The owners are super nice (and dog lovers). Our dog loves their pup cups and is always welcome. We usually stop by once a week during the summer. The order line is always long, but their friendly smile, excellent customer service and great food makes the wait worth it.”

“Hardtails is a chill kind of bar. It has an online video poker, pool tables, and an outside area to enjoy. The burgers are really good I was surprised. Service is up to the normal level of satisfaction.”

“I’ve always had good service here with the exception of my visit on 10-13-24. The waitress Mellissa started out okay but my 9 year old didn’t like the toasted buns on her hamburger. Mellissa’s attitude changed and the rudeness came out when I asked for a replacement. She charged us $2.00, which is fine, but her attitude kept us from making other purchases to include dessert, canned beer, and clothing.”
