“We ate here three mornings in a row on our vacation because we loved it so much!! I got the breakfast sandwich and my husband got the turkey bacon avocado sandwich with gluten free bread. The pumpkin bread here is also sooo yummy. The staff is super friendly! We were able to take the resort shuttle but also walked several times using the bike paths. This place is tucked away but well worth the trip!!”

“Yesterday we visited the gingerbread Junction at Sunriver Lodge and after that we got really hungry so we chanced a bite to eat without an reservation for lunch at the Lodge Kitchen in the lodge. My mom and I split an incredibly delicious yet authentic Reuben sandwich and a side of Caesar salad each. My cousin had the garden sandwich with curly fries. My cousin's oldest son had the largest cheeseburger I had ever seen with curly fries. Unfortunately, it was so big he couldn't eat it all, and we accidentally ordered the beet Royale salad but couldn't even attempt to eat it. So we took it home to have later. Across the dining room area the sight of seeing Mt Bachelor so clearly on such a clear day was a big plus. Lots of conversation, and good times were had by all of us. Super family friendly and convenient to grab a little bite to eat after such fun seeing the gingerbread houses.”

“Great place! Great menu, delicious and good sized portions, with decent fair prices. Has a good vibe with happy energetic employees. Living in Bend for 20 years, our first time to eat here after watching a local news dining feature story. Well worth the 30 minute drive. We will be back!”

“Van & team were nice & provided great service tonight. We were placed in the bright dining room & they sat a large group next to us so it got loud unfortunately. View was excellent. Spacing was great. Salad & drink were great. Ranch tasted watered down & bent towards dill. The spicy orange dressing was good but not spicy. They just need to remove the pretzel sticks from the menu - they aren't sticks, don't taste like pretzels, & the beer cheese was bland. We did not care for the onion soup; I recommend they use a new recipe going forward...”

“Always a great spot to unwind. Have a drink. Hang out with cool people. Play pool if you want and they have live music on the weekends sometimes. Awesome place. Incredible owners”

“I had the surf and turf special, fried oyster with 8 oz filet. It was exceptionally delicious. I sat in the bar area, a bit more lively than the dining room for a solo diner. The service was quick and the servers & host were incredibly nice.

I took the complementary shuttle from Sunriver Resort, so unsure on parking. Most diners were in golf attire or dinner casual.”

“Place could use a better chef, not one that can't handle more than just makin one order at a time. Foods okay though, if you go when the parking lot is empty.”

“The Spotted Frog at the Cove is our favorite place to unwind after a full day of climbing, skiing or hiking. It is located by the people where you can watch the kids, relax with a nice Paloma, and the food served are generous portions. The food has been delicious and the drinks are excellent... Though a little stronger would be nicer ;). The staff are friendly and professional.”

“After a lovely time sleigh horse riding with Sunriver Lodge, we got chilly and warmed up in the " Owl's Nest bar and grill. It was a great place to get a bite to eat. We ate at the high tables on the grill side of the restaurant. Cozied up at a master fireplace with hot coffee for the adult girls, hot cocoa for the kids and a diet coke and good beer for mom and my cousin's husband. Along with a super yummy 😋 Smashburger, BBQ boneless chicken wings for two families and basket of fries and finally a ginormous Owl's Nest 🥨. So good! Excellent family friendly area, with kids menus. The best part was that lovely view of Sunriver airport and horse stables along with the award winning golf course. A good time was had by all!”

“I had the filet mignon. It was cooked to perfection. And the garlic infused mashed potatoes had chinch of roasted garlic in them. They were amazing. This restaurant has the feel of a classy dinner house. Our server was a pro and everything was great. The storefront belies what is inside. You must try this place.”

“We were in Sunriver over my daughter’s golden birthday. We pre-ordered a cake for her and they made the process so easy to tailor it to her taste, ensured we got the right size since we were visiting from out of state, made sure it was ready for our decoration/candles, and pickup was a breeze. The bakery is adorable, filled with amazing treats (we couldn’t pass on their incredible donuts for breakfast the next day), and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!”

“I eat a lot of breakfast burritos. This place has the best breakfast burrito. Good portion, heated perfectly so the tortilla gets crispy. They Usually have two options, veggie and a meat one. My go to breakfast when in sunriver.”

“I am a huge fan of Mexican food and have visited more than 200 Mexican restaurants in last 3 years but this one is something else... everything I have tried (an I have tried almost every dish) was more than perfect..food is fresh and portions are huge! If you are ever in Sunriver or Bend you have to pay them a visit it will be well worth it. Ask for server Oscar or Carlos they are the best!
And of course don't forget the best margaritas in town (hibiscus margarita or classic one)!;)”
