“Wow!! Where do I start off with this hidden gem in the neighborhood. Well great location. Easy parking. As soon as my wife and I entered we were both greeted, but hey it's a tavern and so not expected. We sat ourselves right in the middle of the place and menu was already sitting on the table. Within 2 minutes a server came to the table to ask for drinks. My reason for coming was there sign in front about chicken. So when we ordered we ordered the chicken fried steak with biscuit and gravy. Chicken cooked to a perfection. Breast meat. What caught me with this dish was how well seasoned it is. Atmosphere is a bit different and some colored people it may seem a turn off, but let me tell you. I felt welcomed, waitress came by and checked on us and the memorabilia that flooded this place is more than enough to visit again which my wife and I will come again. The chicken was cooked to perfection, the eggs perfect and also seasoned well. TV playing all the sports I needed to see that day. Not to loud. Great place overall. Would definitely come back.“

“A friend and I went for drinks and did not eat. The ambiance is great, the place has a nice vibe. There was music, but it was in the background and did not make conversation difficult, as it should be in this kind of establishment. Service and drinks were good. We will go back soon!“

“Best Mezcal selection in the country! Their Mezcal wall is so impressive. Dan and Brendon are artists at cocktail making. Delicious cocktails. They are super nice and we learned a lot about Mezcal. The Brussels sprouts Caesar is amazing! Whatever sauce is in it should be bottled. The tacos melt in your mouth. So delicious. The atmosphere is dark, moody, toasty. Great on a fall/winter night!“

“This may be one of my new favorite bars in Portland. Well made cocktails. Had the foreign panache and then ordered a Vesper off menu. Very well balanced on both. The decor, music, vibe, all perfect. Well done! I miss 24th and Meatballs but this is a welcome replacement!“

“Low Tide Lounge has the kind of laid-back atmosphere that makes you want to stay a while. The empanadas and nachos were delicious, the micheladas were on point—and best of all, the jukebox and pool table are both free.

We enjoyed our conversation while a good selection of classic rock played in the background. Comfortable seating inside, a few tables outside. The food smelled amazing so I'll definitely be eating next time I come by.“

“where to start, we are big good truck goers. A family of 5. makes it great when everyone can get what they want. This place is beautiful, they had a handful of trucks (more coming) but the options were definitely a mix. Something for everyone for sure. The Cuban food truck is a 10/10 highly recommend! The Cuban sandwich was the best sandwich ive had in a long time. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. My husband and kids had burgers, corn dogs, and chicken strips. The burgers were huge. super great flavor, (adding lamb burgers to the menu soon) super excited to come back to try those. Lets talk drinks, I like a good spicy cocktail, however most "full bars" offer Tabasco to spice up my drink. I hate that. I prefer a spicy tequila or a muddled jalepeno. This place has bitters. This was hands down the best spicy margarita (the house margarita with spicy bitters) that I have had since I've been out here. They have have a changing station in the bathroom. a pinball room, and a kids toys section. For families like us, little kids, picky eater, the FULL bar. This is by far the best food truck place we have went to.“

“Extremely well curated tap list featuring Oregon legends, west coast collabs and new upcoming brewers and cider makers. The rotating cider list is especially great. The owner and staff are knowledgeable and super friendly. It truly is an exceptional neighborhood spot and it was sorely needed.“

“I've only been here twice because I'm not in this neighborhood too much but it's a spot I recommend to others. I've enjoyed my drinks everytime so far. They have great cocktails, fun slushies you can add liquor of choice and jello shots! There is a pool table in the back next to photobooth as well as thr front in the pizza place. The staff here is always friendly and make great recs. The decor and vibe is also great. I'll definitely be back again“

“Solid four star experience. Went in the middle of the day for a burger and wasn't disappointed. Burger was presented nicely, had a nice taste, bun was good, fresh fixings, and melted cheese.

Also got their fried pickle spears. Those were damn good.

Bartender was attentive, friendly, and did her job just fine.

I did enjoy the ambiance and will return to play some pinball and shuffleboard.“

“Great vibes and an excellent happy hour from 5-7pm. All of the cocktails were delicious and very affordable. The grilled cheese and tomato soup combo were great on a gloomy day, with the soup being slightly on the salty side, but still a great dish.
Inside is pretty dark, but the back patio was a nice space to hang out while still light out.“

“I love Central. It’s close to home, they have indoor and outdoor seating, the people there are really nice (especially Amy, who always tries to have a stout or 2 on tap), and my dog feels so relaxed here (sitting outside of course). It’s just a cozy local hangout, and they have cool events all the time. A lot of my favorite bars and restaurants have closed since the start of Covid, so I really hope people help support this place so they’re able to stick around a long time.“

We loved the antiques and quirky items sitting on the wall shelves which reminded us of ‘the good ole days’. “Now known as Mini, this bar is fantastic. The owners are knowledgeable, kind and make a great effort to ensure that people are comfortable in this cozy and communal space. The cocktails and offerings are fantastic. Honestly, this is my personal hidden gem in the city, but I wanted to share the love.“
