“I had such a lovely Chicken Tagine at the Kasbah Moroccan Cafe today. The owner/chef was personable and the restaurant was clean with a nice atmosphere. The mint tea was wonderful, too, and I loved the whimsical tea-cozy felt. I'll definitely come back next time I'm visiting Portland!“
“Don’t be fooled by the size of this little place, it packs a BIG punch of flavor and service. The owners checked in at different times to make sure the food was to our liking and our server was kind and quick. She even helped me figure out how to eat it authentically! My wife and I WILL be back!“
“Been trying to eat here for 5 years every time I have been in Portland visiting friends (we always end up somewhere else). FINALLY came with the intention to eat here and the food is fantastic. So glad it lived up to expectations I built up in my head. I gotta say, if Iraqi food is like this, it's my new favorite food.“
“Due to the stellar reviews, our college baseball team chose Moonlight Grill for their post-game meal and they did not disappoint. The team needed 38 gyros, a mix of chicken schawarma, beef schwarma, and lamb meat gyros with homemade baklava and they were able to accommodate us on short notice. The friendly owner was a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend Moonlight Grill if you want a delicious meal that will be well-received by all!“
“We have searched high and low for decent Gyros in town and finally found them here. The owners/staff are always friendly and accommodating. The location is fantastic with lots of parking, other food carts around, and John's Marketplace next door. After many visits and orders they have yet to disappoint!“
“I have been a couple of times, this time I got the lamb gyro and it was simple and delicious! I don't always like lamb but this was perfect! I will definitely be back. I also like that it's a hole in the wall, tucked into a corner of the convenience store but there are a couple booths and tables so you can sit and eat.“
“Amazing food, great atmosphere, happy people. Local & family owned. I went with my Mom after Hush Hush was recommended by her Surgeon. I am new to Mediterranean cuisine so ordered something that was not what I was expecting. But it was my mistake,so I was just going to buy a 2nd wrap but the owner insisted on giving it to me.He also took time to explain the dishes and even gave me samples. Not only was lunch great but I also got a wonderful presentation on the different dishes they offer. To top the delightful experience the owner wrapped up my mistaken order for my Mom to eat later. All the meals we saw looked amazing and my Gyro with Tziki was delicious! The prices are good and the portions are large.I will definitely dine here again and will recommend Hush Hush Cafe to all my friends and family!“
“We got the chicken arabi wrap with fries. The wrap itself was thinner (and not like those pita wraps or tortilla wraps), just the way I love it. Everything was pretty spot on. Personally I felt it could have held back on the pickles. The pickle quantity was a little too much than I prefer. Overall a pretty good place and I'll definitely be back to try more.“
“Better than Chick Fil A. They give ALOT of high quality food. The price is fair for the amount and quality. I got full with just one slider and side of mac (the slider is pretty big). The workers were courteous and my food came out quick. 5 stars and Im coming back for more later “
“Of course, it is number one at the state level in the Iraqi bakery business. Thank you to the market owner, my friend Sajjad Abu Ali. He works hard with his family members and some employees to keep the business always successful. I have been a customer of theirs for more than 8 years. Thank you to everyone.“
“I stopped here for my lunch hour because I was feeling adventurous since I've never eaten falafel before. I purchased the falafel wrap as it seemed pretty straightforward and reasonably priced. It was very fresh and very delicious. I was not overwhelmed with any of the sauce and I was asked if I wanted it spicy, which I did not. It was not spicy yet it had a lot of flavor and textures that were crunchy. I'm really glad I tried this out. I may make a habit of eating here every so often to change things up. They accept card and cash and tips if you like. I left $1 cash tip because, why not. Looks like this is probably a family owned local business, which is always a plus. There are plenty more options I will try later. Great food for a great deal.“
“Cheaper but just as delicious as the other local Indian-Pakistani restaurants I have been to. Creamy, and yogurt-y sauces compared with boneless chicken and rice, me and my mom ordered two meals and we had enough left for lunch the next day combined.“
“This is, without a doubt, my favorite food cart in the city. My only regret is that I don't get to eat here often enough (it's a bit out of my route). The portions are very generous, and the taste is impeccable. I am spoiled by those French fries soaking the flavor from the chunks of lamb in the gyro. By all means: visit this place and get a gyro. It will never fail to brighten your day.“
“We went here today with our class of graduating 8th graders as a treat. I was impressed by the patience and helpfulness of the awesome staff as we got 13 kids and 2 adults food. As for the food, the chicken is never dry and it's perfectly fried and seasoned. We're Muslims, we know what we're talking about when we talk about spices ;). The fries were crispy and well spiced with the perfect level of salt. I like there's a nice crisp level to the fries, they aren't soggy but you're not afraid to chip your teeth. The pickles and sauce push it over the edge to greatness. Thank you Dave's for making our students' day!“
