“I've been coming here for lunch whenever I can for the past two years, and it never disappoints! Easily some of the best Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food in the Portland area. There can be a bit of a wait during lunch hour since it's a one-man food cart operation (at most 10-15 minutes), but it's always worth it since everything is fresh and made-to-order. From the massive gyros to the delicious plates, everything is a must-try. To top it off, Ali is incredibly friendly and passionate, and it truly shows in the quality of his food.“

“I started a new job downtown two weeks ago and I’ve had Small Pharaoh’s once a week. The lamb gyro is genuinely to die for and while the wait for them to make it is a little long it is well worth the wait. Love this place! Gonna grab me a lamb gyro from here every week until I can’t anymore.“

“Dave's Hot Chicken is the best thing to happen around this spot. Listen, always hella teens around because Dave's is a SAFE place. Dave's reminds you of being able to leave for lunch in high school and finding the nearest, filling, most affordable spot that will give you energy and taste delicious! Their whole selection is wonderful and always so fresh and tasty no matter if they are slam packed or not. They work so hard and their food delivery is a great example! “I went out at 2:20 in the morning to get something to eat. I did not expect to eat one of the best meals I’ve had in a while at that price range. The store owner was very nice and gave me a few recommendations for what to eat and he made an excellent choice because the food was amazing. The environment around the outside of the store was a little rough but that was not the store owners fault and shouldn’t take away from the quality of the food. Overall a great place to eat, would recommend for a night munch.“
