“When I visit Roseburg, this is my favorite place to eat lunch. I get so excited as the food is vegetarian and delicious. The ingredients are fresh and the sandwiches are made with their own baked breads. My father, who passed on, would travel the U.S. trying to find “sticky buns” as good as the Lighthouse,” but, he never could!!! Since Covid, they have scaled back on the days they are open. The employees are kind, thoughtful and efficient.“

“This place has super good food. It is well kept and prices are fair. My only issue is it is a small restaurant. So they are cramming a lot of seats into one area. Other than that service was good and everything was fresh made to order. Definitely will be back.“

“What an epic 10th wedding anniversary we had staying in the rental and joining our friends who came up to celebrate with us. Everything was perfect! The food was "chef's kiss!" The wine was amazing and those avalanche slushies!!! We are so glad that we chose to spend our special day at the Ridge because the owners and staff always make us feel so special and loved ❤️ And OMG...all the wildlife first thing in the morning and at dusk...deer (including twin fawns), birds, foxes, squirrels...such a special place. For anyone who hasn't tried this place, you are definitely missing out! Best winery in the valley for sure! The wine is just so good! 🥂“

“I wasn't expecting much, maybe just some mildly flavorful food and less than stellar service, but I was wrong on both fronts. It's next to some budget hotels but it could easily do well next to some high class hotels. The food, service and location (for where we started, especially) were amazing! All three of us really loved the food. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The service was awesome too. We weren't neglected, although it wasn't busy when we went in on a Monday morning around 8 am. We really enjoyed Elmer 's. I wish we had diners like this back home. “Delivery, the pizza was excellent. I was visiting my Uncle and I'm from Idaho. Got it and my uncle in Oakland ordered it. I haven't been in the area in many years and was shocked by how hard the Covid19 decimated these small towns. Yet this little pizza restaurant apparently made such great pizza they made it through. Kudos to them! I'd like to encourage other travelers to stop in and give it a try. The pizza is great and the people in these small towns would really appreciate it. I'm not soliciting charity, just hoping you stop by.“

“My first visit to Blac-N-Bleu was on a Sunday @3PM. It was not busy (yet) so I was asked by the host if a quiet corner booth would be ok. It was very nice. I have to give kudos to my waitress, Emyleigh. I am not used to taking myself out to dinner Felt a bit awkward, but Emyleigh answered all my menu questions, offered helpful suggestions, and remembered my special requests, and discreetly checked During my meal to see if everything was good or need anything else. Emyleigh was exceptional!“
