“Four of us drove from Ilwaco to Astoria with our truck and boat trailer specifically to get pizza. When we arrived at the Astoria Fultano’s, the dining room was completely empty, but they refused to make us a pizza because they had an order for 50 pizzas. They offered us wings and appetizers, but no pizza. We even told them we were willing to wait, and they still refused.

So we drove over to the Fultano’s in Warrenton. They explained that they were separately owned, welcomed us in, made us pizza, and took great care of us. The food was great, the service was great, and they completely turned around what had been an extremely frustrating experience.

I wanted to make sure the Warrenton location received the recognition it deserved. This is how you treat paying customers. Five stars all the way.“

“The boat is really cute and the staff is efficient and friendly. There was a long line when I showed up, but it moved steadily and pretty fast. I also liked that they have a collection of hot sauces, vinegar, salt, pepper, etc. to add to your food.
This is the best fried fish I've ever had in my life.“

“My husband and I drove 5 hours here to Astoria, Buoy was primarily the reason why we visited to have food, beer & to see some sea lions. It was on the top of our list of things to do. Well to our huge surprise the location is not what was advertised anywhere I saw online. The location described online has been shut down for years due to a collapsed roof according to the person who was working there that day. There wasn't a kitchen, so no food either. However their beer was very good. I understand things happen but please someone update Buoys info online, so misleading & so disappointing.“

Hubby had the Philly cheesesteak and I had the fish n chips, we both shared the awesome bowl of claim chowder. FYI they have the best tarter sauce“

“Chinook Coffee CO is our go to on the Peninsula. Best Customer Service! Especially with the historic Valorie. But it starts with the ownership. Today she not only created over the top yummy Kona Mocha drinks but helped us out in a jam. We were on our way to a surgical post op appointment in Longview when our battery died at the window. She called her husband he immediately came with jumpers and revived the battery. She spoiled us with fresh warm crispy crumbles from her fresh baked yummy cookies. We made it to Longview, to my appointment and got a new car battery. Now that is customer service!“

“I really enjoy getting my drinks from this Astoria Growler Guys. The service is excellent. Staff is friendly and have great knowledge. I travel from Hillsboro to refill with them. If you have time to sit and enjoy your drinks. Do so. There are a few seats inside and nice space outside fire pit. With picnic tables. There are two food trucks too.“

“Fantastic food and some of the best customer service i've ever had! Good job guys. My only complaint is sometimes when we go there, we get a bad cook. The food is dry and not very flavorful. It's hard to complain when you're there because you don't try the food until you get back home. We live over thirty minutes away. It's good enough to keep coming back in hopes we get the good cook.“

“We visited Vineside Wine Bar while traveling through Astoria on our way to Washington. We could walk there from our hotel which was great.

Justin, the owner, was incredibly gracious and introduced us to some great wines local to the region. They were great! The vibe is cozy. We enjoyed our visit and would return again!“

“I’ll start off with the pho which was absolute perfection! 5 stars for the food here but 1 star for the service. It was comical how unfriendly and rude our waitress was. I asked her 2 simple questions about how the pho is prepared and she responded as if I had just asked her the passcode for her debit card. She dropped our pho off and NEVER returned again. Never check on us once. No, how is everything? Or do you need anything else? Or would you like some more water? NOTHING. We had to go to the bar to get our check and pay.

Fish and chips were ON POINT and tuna melt and fish tacos were all really good. Service was excellent. Vibe was super chill compared to Long Beach/Astoria and a great views of all the action at the Harbor, and the sports on the tv inside! Nailed it. Definitely coming back thanks Salt!“

“This is the last good Dairy Queen in Clatsop County. Don't go to Warrenton or Astoria; they'll make ya sick. Gearhart DQ has always been solid, and they actually cook their food. Without the Gearhart location, you'd have to go all the way to Manning DQ (also just as good as Gearhart). PLEASE STICK AROUND IN GEARHART. 🤣“

“Very pleasant restaurant serving classical American food . Generally, service is slow but friendly. During peak hours, however, I felt that the staff was overwhelmed. Still, the atmosphere is classy and the food is well prepared, so if you are not in a rush, this is a great place to eat.“
