“Very much enjoyed this location after having visited in Oregon City many times. After driving by for years and years was so surprised at the lovely atmosphere that doesn't feel like you are close to a busy street at all! The service was wonderful, the wine list and food were great - loved the Caesar Salad. I will be back.“

“We just tried Chantrel for the first time and it was fabulous. From the cocktails, to the starter, to the entrees, to dessert. Loved it all. The ambiance is warm and inviting and our waitress was friendly and attentive. I had the salmon with blackberry salsa and my husband had the lamb which was prepared perfectly with farro and mushrooms. If they have a special, get it. The seasonal peach tomato caprese with blue cheese and balsamic was fresh and delicious. They use local, very high quality ingredients for every dish. Can’t wait to see what future menus for fall and winter will bring.“

“The burger was tasty but the bun wasn’t toasted so it got kinda mushy, but the buffalo cauliflower and the Parmesan fries were both AMAZING and more than made up for it. The wine selection was diverse and affordable and the atmosphere was lively without being too loud. Will definitely be coming back!“

“Unique selection of wines and a great charcuterie plate with lovely outdoor seating or inside bar or small table seating. My friend and I met to catch up after work and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We have tried a different wine bar every time we've met and this one resonated with us. So much so that we will likely return to this one rather than trying another new place. I had a French Aligote, with which I was unfamiliar. The waiter gave me an excellent description, which matched what I received. Very pleasant experience!“

“A very chic, up scale wine bar located in Sellwood. The owner sources locally made products for their tapas style menu. Staff are personable and professional. The wines frequently rotate, and the establishment hosts a monthly wine club. The atmosphere is cozy and elevated, and frequently hosts a wide array of live music throughout the week. Corkscrew is approachable from new wine drinkers to those with niche tastes. It is female owned which is always a plus.Perfect for dates during live music nights, I personally love to use it as a study location.“

“What a fantastic place! Does everyone know about this hidden gem and I'm just the last to know? Great service...super friendly and attentive without being too much. Great ambiance, even for a Sunday brunch.(I can't wait to go for dinner!) Great selection of delicious cocktails and brunch options were plentiful with both sweet and savory options. Hard to pick which to go with but opted for the Pork Belly Adobo-Don. Pricing was as expected yet reasonable. Can't wait to go back! They have something very special going on here.“

“After many travels and indulgences in fine food and beverage across the country, there are few places with such a touch. I am always proud to bring family members to Nebbiolo when visiting town. They are always impressed and want to go back. We have made it our new spot to celebrate life events. Although the food melts in your mouth and will leave you wanting seconds, it’s not outrageously priced. Make sure to sit at the bar and say hi to Anthony mixing up masterpieces, alcoholic & N/A.“

“An extremely well designed an executed menu. Absolutely do not skip the venison tartare - it's beautifully seasoned and fresh.
The fondue is a must have if you have a group, the cheese itself is delicious and the spread is varied well, from pickled cauliflower to grilled bratwurst to roasted potatoes to fresh blueberries and more
We ended on the grilled trout - what a perfect execution of the fish. It was blackened, but not overcooked, and accompanied by a delightful sauce and stuffed with lemon and herbs.
The cocktail menu is likewise well done with some unique offerings - the Almost a Viking is a nice choice for a light, refreshing cocktail with a touch of olive brine. The schnapps flights are also incredibly fun.

“Hands down, my favorite Mexican restaurant! The chips are perfection, the warm salsa is absolutely divine! I love the Lime Chicken enchilada, it's balanced, perfectly spiced and uber flavorful! If you haven't been, you must go and if it's been a while, go now!
