“James Beard worthy! The owner met with us after dinner this week and explained his dishes with pride. He cuts all beef and poultry on-site and makes the deserts from scratch. Our steaks were the finest, well aged and prepared we have had nationwide. The flourless chococate cake will leave you speachless. Thank you for the experience, we will be back!”

“Absolutely amazing staff and great vibes.
We had a bit of a snafu with our vacation plans and originally stopped here hoping to get access to WiFi to deal with an issue we were having with our Airbnb.
Ended up staying a bit on their wonderful porch and got some beverages while figuring out our next plans. The staff was amazingly helpful and went beyond out of their way to help us. Plus a good selection of drinks.
10/10 recommend

“This was our first time dining at Chicali Cantina. We are visiting from Texas and we know and love our Mexican food and are pretty picky. The chicken street tacos were amazing. Everyone in our party got street tacos except my Momma, who got enchiladas. Everyone raved about their choices. They do not chince on their meat or the fixins. Loved the chicken. Friendly staff and awesome atmosphere. We even got to take a pic with their life size Chancla. So happy we didn’t disrupt anyone too bad to have the wrath of the size 79 Chancla. “Cheeseburgers make up an embarrassingly large portion of my diet. You know how they say 90% of the human body is water? Well, the other 10% of mine is cheeseburgers. Remember that character from Popeye? They based him on me. Smashburgers, pub-style burgers, Burgerville, Mike’s, those hamburguesas you get from a Mexican joint, backyard BBQ burgers… I love them all. I consider myself an aficionado.

So I don’t say this lightly: the “Y’all American” is one of the best cheeseburgers I’ve ever had. Shredded lettuce giving a cool contrast to the hot meat and cheddar. Diced, raw red onions to avoid the stringy onion problem. Tangy pickles and a thick, fresh, tender tomato. One single patty, cooked to perfection with a thin line of pink in the middle. Just the right amount of fry sauce to boost the flavor without soaking the buns.

It hits every mark. It is simply the perfect cheeseburger. Paired with their excellent fries, Wraptitude has set a high bar for enjoying cheeseburgers on the side of a volcano.

“I'll never forget my First Mt hood roasters coffee experience. My brother took me here way back when and we made it a tradition to stop in and grab coffee on our way home from skiing. He now lives in Colorado but I have kept the tradition alive but getting a coffee for me and I send him beans. Love your roasts and homemade goodies.”

She was so personable and very accommodating to our different taste in drinks and mocktails as we had a big group. she made our time all the more special and we would absolutely come back and hope to see Laura again.”

“We ate there this morning and had sausage egg and cheese muffin and a bowl of fruit(melons). My husband had eggs, bacon, homemade biscuit with homemade raspberry jam, and potatoes. The coffee was good but they were out of milk. They did have o.j. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. They had decaf coffee and tea bags. I asked if they had dairy free milk and they didn’t. Would highly recommend!!👍👍”

“We were heading back from a camping trip. Long 3 hour drive back to Salem. We stopped here for dinner and we're pleasantly surprised with our order. I wish I would have taken a picture! My burger looked better than the menu picture and my son's chicken step basket had chicken strips bigger than our local dq. All ingredients tasted fresh and servers were friendly. We will be stopping here every year after our annual camping trip. Thank you!”
