“I’ve been coming to Cocalico Coffee Crafters for about a year and a half now—and I should have written this sooner. CCC is more than just a coffee shop—it’s a place with the warmth of a hearth, and the heart to match. Their Haitian espresso is rich and flavorful, the food’s solid, and the baristas are friendly. The space is large, and they fill it with good energy. But what really sets this place apart is the people. When I was going through a rough patch, I spent countless hours tucked away in a corner writing. Not once did anyone bat an eye at whether I ordered one coffee or ten, whether I took my meals there or not. I always got the same welcoming smile, and authentically good energy from the staff and owners alike. Owned by two genuinely kind humans, Rachel and Scott Elliott, this shop has quietly become a place of refuge and community for folks around East Cocalico—and I’ll always be grateful for what it gave me when I needed it most. Be sure to check out their site for menus or event rental information—I've not been in attendance to any, but I've seen the care with which they prepare: They're who I'll talk to next time I need such a space.”

“Wow, this is the best Plov in our area! The Beef is soft, juicy, and falls apart in your mouth, super rice. The carrots are delicious, and the tomatoes are juicy and tasty. Everything is so delicious, you won't find anything like this in local restaurants. And this is one of the best burger patties (in the world?). I ordered a double cheeseburger, and everything was great. What is the size of the patties? 1 inch of meat? Super! I'm full. Try finding such juicy and tasty patties on this coast. “The service was fine and the food was very good. (we were a part of 10 with 4 children), but I do have a complaint about the details when ordering. I ordered iced coffee and was not told that there would be a charge when I asked for a refill. I ended up paying $15.80 for 4 glasses of iced coffee. we also asked if we could replace fries with Cole Slaw and we were charged an additional $3. Charges like there should be stated by the staff when ordering. I did not realize the charge until the next day. Our total bill was over $150.”

“The food was amazing! I had the curry which was very rich in flavor. The service was quick and friendly. I loved the atmosphere especially the lofi jazzy music playing and the decor. Very happy this restaurant is in Ephrata and definitely going back!”

“I wish we had tried this cafe sooner. The food is good with generous portions. We usually get one of the special which are a great deal. The seating in the enclosed porch is bright and airy with lots of hanging plants. The service has always been great. I've been telling everyone to go check it out. I can't recommend the Dutch-way cafe enough.”

“So we ordered for the second time cause we loved the food the first time. Again the taste was delicious however the portions were barely full. I don’t know if it was later and they were running low but it wasn’t even to the first line of the container. The only other issue I was disappointed with is I like sauces and usually they aren’t on lock down in most places but here they are so I asked for dinner for two I asked for 3 soy sauce 4 duck sauce and 1 hot mustard and she literally said that to much like maam I should have as many as I need to enjoy my taste in my opinion and to make a comment that I’m asking for to much for 2 people I felt was very rude. Finally found a place we love the taste and now feel like it’s an issue to eat it the way we like it since there’s a sauce nazi.”
