“Shout out to whoever manages and the employees at Cocco’s Primos! We ordered delivery tonight. We ordered a large pizza, chicken cheesesteak, wings and cheese fries. Our order came a little over an hour later. I met the guy in the street, opened the bag to make sure it was in there (obviously didn’t open the food completely yet) and I gave the delivery driver cash and went inside. We received a cheesesteak with sweet peppers, a pizza burger and fries. That was not our order but I called, the manager got on the phone and apologized and made us a fresh order along with a free pizza and soda within 25 minutes. Kudos for accepting a mistake and making it right for a loyal customer. You guys rock! Thank you again.“

“The owner and staff greeted us with a great big smile and then we picked out what looked to be my favorite—buffalo chicken. I knew this pizza looked like it was the perfect consistency, but I wasn’t sure yet if the taste would measure up. It had the perfect amount of cheese and just the right hint of ranch sauce—oh, so good! The plain slice took me right back to my hometown pizza shop in both taste and consistency. We are super picky about our pizzas, with Brooklyn’s best being among my faves. I am telling you that this place is the best hidden gem in Philly for pizza! You have to try it!“

“My family of 5 attended our first Phillies game this weekend and stayed nearby. We were looking for a delicious breakfast and stumbled upon Colanzi's and we were so glad we did! The restaurant was super clean and our waiter and the owner were phenomenal, especially with our 3 boys. Our meals were unique, from scratch, and made with the freshest ingredients. Even our picky eater ate every single bite. For the coffee drinkers, their coffee was high quality, unlike a lot of breakfast cafes. This restaurant had a very family-oriented, "Cafe on the corner" feel to it. Not only did the owner make us feel right at-home, but he invited us back the next time we are in town and told our boys they could help him make their own custom pizza. On our way out, he shared a free sample of his new ice cream flavor by Bassett's with all 5 of us. if you're looking for amazing meal, coffee, ice cream, milkshake, acai bowl and a place that will meet all of your customer needs, look no further than Colanzi's Moira'Mensing Cafe. Convenient to Lincoln Field and Citizen's Bank Park! Grab a bite before or after the game or order pizza for your tailgate! Highly recommend!“

“I just attended my niece's graduation party there. AMAZING PIZZA !!!! They put out a variety of pizzas on a buffet table. A crispy crust (I went right for the corner pieces) with cheese down 1st. I enjoyed them all, but my favorites were the sausage, the pepperoni, the white pie with onions pork belly and sprouts and the spinach and ricotta. Can't wait to go back !!!“

We also love the Nonna’s pie - square, but thinner crusted than a Sicilian pie with a excellent cheese blend and just a bit of heat/spice. “I’ve been coming here since 1964 and it’s still just as good! Hands down- best pizza in Philadelphia! The brothers/brothers in law have retired, but one of the sons is carrying the legacy forward. All they sell is pizza and soda, and only beef and beef pepperoni toppings. It’s no frills, but worth the ride I make every so often from Chestnut Hill. I only wished they took credit cards and stayed open later, but I understand. If you’re a pizza snob like me, do yourself a favor and try King of Pizza?“

“We just got two large pizzas for our first visit (both were Detroit style - the Motown and the Greektown). For only two people eating, we have almost a whole large pizza of leftovers and let me tell you, I cannot wait to eat them tomorrow. The Motown is the best pepperoni pizza that we have ever had and we are major pizza fans in this family, so that says something! For my Greek fans, I highly recommend that Greektown pizza, so flavorful and don’t even get me started on the crust! 😁“

“Everything we ordered was amazing, but special mention to the beets and burrata salad and pistachio pizza. The beet salad has forced me to reconsider my opinion of beets, with a drizzle of thick balsamic and the addition of burrata cheese this dish shines with its simple and delicious flavors. The pistachio pizza really delivered with a unique flavor combination and perfectly baked dough. The pizza oven and pizza chefs at Stellas are second to none and for my money this is the best pizza in Philly.

Kid-friendliness: Our kid was so enamored with the pizza oven right in view of the main dining room. His interest in watching the pizzas get cooked entertained him for the whole wait for his food.“

We decided to try paneer pizza for the first time here and were thoroughly disappointed. It lacked flavor and tasted bland.

Also, if you plan to have dinner at 7 pm, arrive by 6 pm to allow for food preparation time.

Weekends get very crowded, so be prepared for that.“

“Had a reservation for two. Upon arrival inside, there's no clear host station, so it's unclear who you're supposed to speak to to be seated. We stood right inside the door for about 5 minutes before we were greeted, despite there not being a line. Our server was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu items. The skin contact wine and wine spritzers were incredible. As for the food, the fluke crudo was fresh and delicious. Over the past few times we've visited Sally, we've noticed that the pizza crust has been a bit burnt. This time, we were disappointed that the pizza crust was completely burnt.“
