“We have lived up the street for 7 years and have always been hesitant to order from here. We finally decided to order the wings to go, and they were so good! The price is amazing for the quantity, whole wings served in a catering size tray. The sauces (BBQ and ranch) weren't the best but we will definitely be ordering again!“

“My wife and I had several drinks there on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere was very chill but the drinks were top shelf. My wife went on and on about the blackberry smash and my smoked bourbon was fantastic. I highly recommend and would go back in a second.“

“My son and I had dinner for Mother’s Day. Our first experience at this restaurant. Aside from a small miscommunication where the side dishes were delivered to the table alongside the apps, everything was very good. They corrected the sides and delivered fresh with the entrees, the sides were easily large enough to share amongst three or four people and the food was very good. The app, sides and entrees, as well as the gluten free chocolate cake were all delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to return.“

“We went to G’s for our anniversary and it was an absolutely delightful experience. Great quiet and cozy atmosphere, stellar service, and incredible food and drinks. Every dish was full of flavor and the textures were all beautifully done. Even the bread basket was amazing with maple butter. It felt like a 5 star dining experience for a reasonable person. “We had täkō last night in Pittsburgh for the first time and it was SO GOOD! They had their Spookeasy pop up Halloween bar and the set up was so cool, it was pretty packed with it being Halloween weekend but it was such a cool atmosphere! We ended up getting seats at the bar and the two bartenders were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with deciding what drinks we wanted to try! The tacos.....the octopus is the BEST, chorizo was second best for me. Pictures aren't the greatest, but it's the best I got. Definitely a great time if you're feeling fancy 🍶 It's not cheap, but I'd say definitely worth it for the food, drinks, staff and just the atmosphere of it all.“

This is a nice spot to get something to eat after getting off the Incline. The area the place is on is perfect for tourists to get a bite to eat before getting back down onto East Carson Street before their 3 hour PRT pass expires.“

“A 60-something local rocker, when I asked him which bar in Pittsburgh best captures the spirit of the beautiful ’60s–’70s, said: “Squirrel Hill Cafe.” I think he was right. There’s no pretentiousness here. Food is just food, drinks are drinks, service is service, and quality is quality. Time seems to have stopped here — and that’s a beautiful thing.“

“I am a foodie for sure and this experience was a flavor explosion!! The beets were a texture fantasy with a crunch and sweet savory home run. And the Striploin?!!!!! Filet tenderness with a better than NY strip flavor (how is it possible?). Second only to my NYC Wagyu A5 favorite. I was a little hesitant when I first saw the menu, but nothing disappointed at all! Would definitely recommend and return with friends for that steak!!! Chef Dave is a Master of flavors. Shame on me for reviewing before dessert. COME FOR THE DESSERT!! SMH. “This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The entrees are creative plays on classic Italian dishes, the sides are well executed and the appetizers are incredible. The most dangerous thing is the buckwheat focaccia. It's fluffy, soft and flavorful, and the variety of dipping options are mouthwatering individually. I love the vibe of the restaurant. It's hip without feeling forced, the staff is friendly and they play cool music. It's a great date night spot. Major drawback is the parking. It's on-street, and a crapshoot at best to find a spot near the door. But don't let that stop you from checking this place out. It's worth the trip. Pricing is in-line with most upscale dining in the city but not at the extreme upper end.“

“Pub 333 in Oakmont is hands down my top choice when it comes to vegetarian pizza. Since I don’t eat meat, I’m always looking for places that still bring full flavor, and they nailed it. The crust is perfect, the toppings are fresh, and the balance of flavors makes it one of the best veggie pizzas I’ve had. It’s not just the food, either. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe makes you want to stay and enjoy yourself. “Three cheers for this restaurant. My son and I went there for dinner, and let me tell you, it is a very nice place. We were seated by the hostess and handed the menus. I saw a catch of the day plate for $16. I pointed to it on the menu and asked our waitress if it was good. She said a lot of people were ordering it but she didn't taste it. My son and I both ordered it. It was very good. The bill came and it was $75. I showed it to the waitress and she said that the hostess must have given me the lunch menu by mistake. She left and came back with the corrected bill. Now, I'm sure this happens once in awhile. I have had other times that the bill was wrong. But they didn't give me a hard time to correct the bill. Actually on the amount of difference (dinner price was $28.95), I thought they would make a stink about it. But they were very cordial and we left with a very good feeling for this place. So, please go to this restaurant because they know how to make you happy when you come through thier front door.“

“My wife & I go to dinner with a few other couples once a month. We go down the alphabet & go to non chain restaurants. We picked Meat & Potatoes for M. This was all of our first time at the restaurant. We were seated in the side 1 table room, the service was great, it was like our own little space. My wife & I got the 2 Tomahawk steaks, bone marrow, asparagus, & shoestring fries. Everything was amazing, we all got different starters to share. We got the pig candy, all starters were great! There was not one complaint from the table, we will definitely be back. I have known the owner for a very long time, & been to his other places & been just as satisfied. GREAT JOB RICK & ALL OF YOUR STAFF!“

“A great dive type of bar, with the best breakfast and chicken wings around. An older type of crowd tends to be here during breakfast hours with soft playing music. While the night vibe is pretty much a 34yr to 48ish crowd. It's commonly RnB and Hip Hop with the drinks coming out strong and heavy. All while being served by some pretty great female bartenders.“

“BeerHive is such a hidden gem in the strip district! They have ongoing beer selections and always tend to have something new to try when visiting! Although the beer is nice, the tanqueray pickletini is a must try!!! Ambience and staff are always great!“

“We visited Cornerstone for Brunch. I had an omelette with leeks and asparagus and a white sangria. The food and drinks are really good here. Expertly crafted with great nuances of flavor.
Cornerstone is a bit overpriced for portion size but not extremely.
The service here is lacking for me. There is just a snobbish aura from the staff who only seem particularly interested in their regular, repeat customers. New customers seem to be treated with covert flippancy. Therefore, I probably won't be back unfortunately.“
