I spoke with Christine who helped me place the order, and helped me to decide the best options for my menu. One of my options was a prime rib, where I received a phone call from Johnny himself to help me figure out the best way to prepare it for the party. When it was time to retrieve the food on the day of the party, everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Johnny once again came out and was talking with me about the food. I appreciate this aspect of a business, it makes you feel like you’re in a friendly environment, rather than a sterile kitchen. The food quality was amazing. Every platter was delicious, and every guest was happy with how the food turned out. The prime rib was the largest hit, not surprisingly. I couldn’t believe the value of everything as well. “We found this gem of an Italian deli in Ridley Park, less than a mile off the Delaware Expressway.

My husband ordered the “Old World”, a fresh baked roll piled high with meats, cheeses, and Italian spices. I had a sandwich with lightly breaded chicken breast, fresh Mozzarella and roasted red peppers. And yes, it really was that good.

They’re the nicest people. We’ll certainly stop there again, and you should too. You can thank us later.“

“Our first time to dine at Ombra. It was my Husbands 60th and it was superb. We had a table of 4. 2 apps. Caesar salad and 4 entrees. All items made to order and portions were perfect. Made in house which is super fresh. A beautiful plate with all there homemade in house desserts with a candle. From the time I set the reservation and then our evening ended it was a 5 plus star. The food was over the top , service was pleasant and could not do enough for you , a very pretty environment and ultra clean bathroom.
