Tonight they forgot part of our order (which never happens) and I called in. I was prepared to drive back and get it but he OFFERED to deliver it to us for FREE! “Awesome food. We had a dirty plate that I noticed only because it was wet and I used the black cloth napkin to wipe it dry. My napkin had white residue on it. I asked for a new plate and did get one. Also, most of the time we have to ask for fortune cookies. They used to be given with our check. We do love eating here, and drive 50 minutes from our home to get here. We saw the wonderful manager and Chef from our last visit.“

“After getting food poisoning from Great Wall, I found Rice House. They have the absolute most incredible and fresh food. I highly recommend getting their coconut chicken, honey chicken, sweet-and-sour chicken, egg rolls, their duck sauce is the best. Their portions are very generous and they have lunch specials up until 3 PM every day. My daughter and I absolutely love this restaurant and the owners are so sweet. I’m so glad that our community is giving them great business and I see all online positive reviews from other customers around our area. A MUST TRY! You will not be disappointed!!!“

“I’ve tried several chinese takeout places already and this woke me up. This place sets itself apart from others with how delicious the food is.

I’m keen on coming back here eventually when I make through all of them but it has captured my interest.

General tsos was nice and crispy and the pork fried rice was flavorful. The lo mein could use some extra sauce but the foundation was there.

Don’t really count on eating at the place. You can but there isn’t much seating and the open kitchen can be quite warm in the summer. The food holds up to go and thats what I recommend.

“I have lived in 4 towns and tried many Chinese takeout. This place is literally the best Chinese food I've ever had. I drive 30 miles for their sesame chicken with wonton soup. Great deal and the wonton are the size of your fist and you get two. They also delivered to me in 12in of snow in 2014. I felt terrible for asking but they saved me when I had no food for days. You will not regret it.“

“My family and I just moved to this area and I really love chinese food. I was pretty skeptical at trying a new Chinese restaurant because I knew I would compare it to where we just moved from. I ordered chicken and broccoli combo platter and it came with an egg roll, when I say I was blown away…… I am not exaggerating lol….. The food tastes so fresh….. the sauce was just the perfect taste. The food was high-quality and the egg-roll was filled with feeling. The food was still very hot when I arrived home….I was highly satisfied and cannot wait to order from this restaurant again.“

“Been coming here for years and never leave disappointed. The staffs were extremely friendly and all of the combo plates here are great. Definitely one of the better Chinese restaurant in the area.

Our favorite was the boneless spare ribs combo and their fried chicken wings. Definitely recommend getting chili oil on the side if you like it spicy!“

“Angie Baker is full of it dude, idk never once had an issue in 8+ years, never once caught a stray order, the worst that ever happened to us with our meticulous instructions is that they gave us the wrong soda, and when I let them know they told us to keep it, brought us the correct one. “Nice little spot for chinese food. Take out only which isn't an issue as I usually order ahead of time just before I get off work so I can pick it up without a wait. There's a parking lot too so you won't have to worry about stopping for too long in the street if for some reason you get there before your food is ready.“

“Not really sure how this place earned a lot of bad reviews? The food is about as authentic as it gets for local Chinese food. Another place in the same shopping center is far worse in our opinion. The chicken and rice were both great. Egg rolls are crisp and tasty.“

“The general tso's sauce IS the best! I get the general tso's tofu (don't knock it till ya try it) and it's great every single time. Their tofu(or whatever)+ broccoli (brown sauce) is really good as well. I don't usually get the fried rice but I recall it being decent. Not a sit in restaurant and it isn't the most welcoming store front as another person as mentioned, but the food is fast and delicious and I have never had a single issue.

Three years later, and they've never disappointed us. The food is always fresh, hot and delicious no matter if it's takeout or delivery. “I have eaten the food and it's very good. The husband is very nice. I usually walk in. I ordered for delivery this time. One thing I'm my order was vegetable Chow Mein. (Chinese vegetables) She asked if I wanted the noodles. I said "NO, noodles are Lo Mein, I want Chow Mein. Low and behold when I opened my bag I had Lo Mein. The day before I walked in for fried rice. I initially said no to soy sauce but changed my mind 2 seconds later. Got home. No soy sauce. I understand that it gets busy but what I value most in customer service is the art of listening. I WILL continue to eat there but I quess I'll have to reiterate my request to make sure I'm getting what I want. Nobody's perfect.“

“I'm grateful to have a Chinese food buffet in Chester County AND it's vegan is an awesome bonus. I do wish the buffet wasn't so expensive though. But the food is tasty, there are plenty of options which is great for trying out different things. Their pepper "steak" is uncanny. I can't believe it's not real meat. I've been here with non-vegans and they've enjoyed the food too.“
