“Wonderful wait/ help! Gave my friend and me personal service when it was clear we weren't their usual type of customer. ( Two old ladies) We had trouble navigating the ordering screen and got help with that. The waiter got the volume on the music turned down a bit, brought us cups when we needed water due to the spiciness of our food, and even brought us bread to counteract the spiciness! 10 stars to him!“

“We love this place. We live in Philly, but just stumbled on it one day. Maybe it’s the owner, but a visit there feels like a special occasion . The appetizer of pita with a variety of dips is incredible, and filling. Next to come are dishes of souvlaki, falafel, lamb brochettes, vegetables, rice and salad. They are known for outstanding baklava (even for those who think they don’t like baklava), AND chocolate mousse. “Great experience going into the store! I ordered door dash waited a hour and food never left the store. I gave up and drove there and was greeted by Najeb. I was so angry when I arrived and he completely changed my experience. Since my food was sitting out he offered to make everything fresh. Cause of him I’ll be a regular. “I used to get takeout from here at least once or twice a month for their delicious gf pancakes. I moved away a year or so back, and was in town this weekend.
Came in to sit down for breakfast, our server was amazing and the restaurant still had a good cute vibe per usual.
However the gf pancakes were different, very different. They still tasted somewhat similar but they were flat, dry and grainy. I was so disappointed. I couldn’t tell if the recipe had changed or if they were just made improperly.

They used to be so thick and fluffy and just overall amazing.
If somebody from management/ ownership sees this, you should bring the old recipe back/ do some better quality control. They were truly special, and prob the best gf pancakes I have had to date. I’d be happy to pay more to get those thick fluffy pancakes once again.
Even thought I don’t live here anymore, I always looked forward to nudys gf pancakes when I was visiting.

“My daughter and I used to eat at Maman. My daughter is 8. However, Maman drove us out of their restaurant with low quality service and a harassment in us being there for just one hour during our meal. Then we found Nudy's cafe. What's different.... food is better, service is better, cost is lower, and overall atmosphere is way better. Each one of the waiters and waitresses can only be described as outstanding. Nobody pushed us to leave after finishing our meal. My wife has a medical obligation and this is a welcoming place for me and my little girl to hang out while we wait for that to be over. Maman would have threatened us to leave with their Supreme leader ideology. Nudy's makes us feel at home. So if you want higher priced lower quality food with poor service, go to maman. If you want, quality service, polite and outstanding employees, top notch food, and a relaxed environment....go to Nudy's.“
