“My coworker and I were on a work trip across PA and were looking for a place to eat. We came across this place not understanding that it was part of an Omni hotel. With only a tshirt and shorts, my friend wearing an anime shirt, we entered the property and nobody even batted an eye to us not being dressed properly for the occasion. (Most were actually dressed in nice formal attire). We were seated and greeted by very kind service. Their burgers with honey on the side have to be #1 for the best burger I’ve ever had. We finished eating and found giant chess outside, played two games, and were on our way to where we were going. I highly recommend checking out this place“

“My husband and I stumbled across this place by accident and so glad we did! At first I was a little put off by the prices BUT it was well worth it. The food was delicious and a large portion. Our waitress was super sweet ( short little blonde) will definitely be back if we are ever in the area again 😁“

“1796 was a great dining experience. The food was very good. We opted for the 12 ounce filet mignon, mushrooms, fried onions for the top of the steak a chopped salad and the shrimp cocktail. Everything was wonderful. The mushrooms were good although we prefer the portobello mushrooms instead, but everything was delicious and I would definitely go back. Our waiter was outstanding!!!“
