“We were walking around on a Saturday afternoon, and this was one of the few places open. We were so glad! Night before we ate at a place that had high reviews but we were super disappointed. Lot 71 was great! Everyone stole my sweet potato fries with sweet butter dip, and my jalapeño steak wrap was just the right heat. My son said his burger was great and my wife had leftover Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad. We will definitely go back when we visit my son.“

“We stopped in around 6:30 on Friday for some drinks and snacks. The salt and vinegar chicken basket (strips and fries) was the perfect thing to share. The place looked great and the outside area looked cool, but was not open. Lots of big TVs and great bar stools - comfy with a back - but no bar foot rail or hooks under the bar for purses. The bar is really big and there are booths and high top tables in the bar area, with nice, big bathrooms downstairs. We’ll definitely go back - seems like a good place to watch a game.“

“Stopped in for dinner and a few beers. The inside is really great, with lots of locals sitting at the bar. The bartender was great with lots of recommendations. I got the Philly cheesesteak and a cup of baked potato soup, both excellent. They brew their own beer there as well. I got the Graze and Three Beards, both were decent.

Parking: Parking seemed to be hit or miss. There is on street parking for a fee, but it’s a busy street, so you may have to park a block away.“

“A great dive type of bar, with the best breakfast and chicken wings around. An older type of crowd tends to be here during breakfast hours with soft playing music. While the night vibe is pretty much a 34yr to 48ish crowd. It's commonly RnB and Hip Hop with the drinks coming out strong and heavy. All while being served by some pretty great female bartenders.“

Adorable Greek owner, a talker *love it*, entertained us with life experiences, cafe history, three owners over 91 years…award winning foods…the gyro, the spicy sicilian, and the Spartan (the hubby had this, fabulous), each one, separately, winners of first place, three years in a row. So if I bought a case, it would be $168??? Price gouge much?? That is ridiculous! So ok if u want to eat here but DO NOT DRINK HERE. Sorry, I wont be back.“

“They went too high of a membership fee for what you get. Other than that, it's not a bad little place, most of the time. Despite the isolated incidents that have occurred there in the last few years to sully their reputation, it has a very relaxed atmosphere and cheap drinks. Wish a higher class of people frequented.“

“Smoking bars are not ones I go to if I can help it but I was celebrating a friend's birthday and decided to just deal with it. A rowdy crowd for karaoke night. Didn't have any food or play pinball. Only one bartender but you'd get your drink eventually, just had to be patient. The place is very punk, but also seems to be the neighborhood watering hole bc there were several older folks at the bar who were clearly not part of the scene. I coughed up dark mucus for the next two days clearing out all the smoke but the night was fun. Street parking.“

The atmosphere has something for everyone. Their food is moderately priced for good portions, and they have amazing specials - $5 happy hour menu and $10 rotating entree special. They just added some new food to the menu with turkey handhelds, weekend breakfast, and Lenten specials on Fridays. I’m ready to come back and try it all. Support local - eat Elly’s.“
