“It’s always crowded
I just moved back to BP
This is my 1st time at Al’s cafe
That’s a knife and fork burger
3rd time that has happened
And the bun was not toasted that needs fixed for all the burgers
And if i can make a suggestion
Add venison to the menu
It’s a log cabin style restaurant when you walk in
Pennsylvania has a deer problem so during hunting season add venison to the menu
The menu is off the charts there’s a lot to choose from
We have a lot of hunters in south western Pa so a game menu would be good
A rabbit rattlesnake appetizer would be great
Keep the REESE'S desert on the menu“

“Walking into the old post office feels like stepping back in time. The building is beautifully renovated, with charming side rooms that add to the cozy atmosphere. Everything is made fresh, and the coffee was absolutely amazing. Our breakfast sandwiches were delicious—hot, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We loved how dog-friendly it was, making it easy to pop in and out with your pup. The whole place has a warm, family-friendly vibe. Truly a hidden gem right in the heart of Carnegie!“

“Wonderful wonderful people who run this place, so friendly and the chef is next level. He prepares everything by hand. He’s vegan but yet still makes amazing meat based foods. Not to mention the vegan food taste like meat itself! Try the Seth if you like a hot sausage sandwich. You won’t be disappointed.“

“I ate here yesterday !!! and could'nt get past the GUMBO. And that cornbread on the side, just made me do a MAMBO. Soon I looked down in dread as I lowered my head to see the bowl, empty, below. The quick thinker I am, to get out this jam, I just ordered four more to go! ( with peach cobbler and carrot cake for dessert).“

“I stopped in last night, there were two young ladies behind the bar that didn't acknowledge my presence. But when I came in there was a young man sweeping the floor because it was almost closing time and he put the broom down and came behind the bar to wait on me. He's the superstar in this story! Even after he got my drink, the young ladies behind the bar never made eye contact with me. Hard to believe you can go to a place in East Liberty and be treated as if you are invisible.“

“I tried the chicken bánh mì sandwich here and it was pretty good. Service was friendly and quick. They have plenty of seating options, both outdoor and a spacious indoor area that works well for larger groups too. Parking is available, and the restaurant is attached to the Enson Market, which has reopened. Overall, a nice spot to grab food and hang out!“
“I had the Turkey Bacon melt which was very good. All the staff were friendly, and for what we got the price was very reasonable. Overall made my visit to the Aviary even more enjoyable.“

“I have tried SO MANY crepe places in Pittsburgh and around the world, but for some reason I always seem to be comparing them to this place!
The crepes are thin and not too stuffed with fillings, so they feel light and authentic. Nothing is too overly sweet and the ingredients have a very fresh quality to them.
It’s a small place, so I wouldn’t recommend a large group to eat there, but it’s perfect for going with one or two people for brunch.“

“Best coffee shop in the South Hills area, and top 5 of any cafe I've been to. Awesome staff, world class coffee. Been going here for longer than a decade and never once have been disappointed.“
“This is just a cafe, but they had a good selection of food. Hot soup was available, but we opted for sandwiches and salad which were very fresh and plenty enough for us to enjoy for lunch! I opted for a peanut butter and jelly, and I must say I am not a fan of marmalade as the jelly; I was hoping for the more traditional grape or strawberry. I do think they should label what kind of jelly is in the sandwich, but the bread was very fresh, thick, and tasty - more like a home baked bread than store-bought loaf. Prices were reasonable for a city museum, and the staff was super friendly and nice. The seating in the lobby of the museum was abundant the day we were there; it was a pleasant place to have lunch before touring the museum. It was also clean! I don't think I'd make a special trip here just for lunch, but it's a great option if you are going to be visiting the Museum.“
“Went for the Museum of Art and then continued to walk around the attractive grounds. Seems to be a well endowed university with two outstanding museums and a world renowned reputation. Campus itself is easy to navigate, with parking next to the art museum. We enjoyed our visit.“

“the facilities are great, museum carriage House gift Center conservatory Clayton tours. don't waste your time at the cafe. did not feel welcome there too many policies that are inhospitable. policies that are not welcoming. also the manager is rude and Ben's the policy rules for certain people in certain groups. also don't believe the menu they post I thought the menu you'll get when you go in. it's a little overpriced for what's offered. the food is fairly average nothing outstanding it can't be made in your kitchen. plan to go to the property do the tours and museum and then you'll find better restaurants more hospitable off property in the area.“

“Visited this morning for the first time. Got egg and cheese sandwiches, one croissant one ciabatta - both were amazing!! The lattes were delicious and rich. You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches. I didn’t mind that much and it was well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back!“
“This coffee shop is a an outcropping of Point State Park University. I like it because it usually has a less crowded atmosphere than Starbucks. Mostly college kids when its open. The coronavirus has taken its toll. but all in all still a decent place to get a cup of coffee, sushi, pita wraps, sandwiches, fruit cups, candy, chips and acetera.“

“It’s my final day volunteering at Carnegie Science Center, so I thought I’d get some final day fries. They were incredible fries in general, not greasy, seasoned, and very generous quantities. You definitely get the bang for your buck. I’d dare to say these are the best fries in Pittsburgh. Incredible stuff, highly recommend. Also, incredibly nice and generous staff, always a smile on their faces. Very clean open kitchen concept.“
