“We stopped here on our way to Gettysburg. The food was delicious and we really liked the cider. Staff was helpful once we engaged them but it was a little awkward for a "newbie" who didn't really know anything about about the place. That being said, the food was awesome! My husband had a custom pulled ham flatbread and I had the smoked pulled pork nachos. The meat was melt in your mouth.... So good!“

“Cute place on the back end of the battlefield. Mozzarella sticks were really good and cooked perfectly! The chili dog was just ok. Not enough chili and cheese sauce overpowered the bun. The pizza was good, but the sauce was tangy, overly chunky, and acidic. For the price was a good value and would go back!“

Waldo's & Company Pet Friendly •
17 Lincoln Square Basement, Gettysburg - 6.89 miles

“Waldo's is great. It's in the basement of Lark, if you are looking for it. It's a maker space, selling artisan crafts, along with a coffee shop. The coffees are donation based, which is awesome. Staff was incredibly friendly. I got an orgeat-flavored breve, which was fantastic. I love that they offer French soda as well. And their mocktails look awesome. I'm looking forward to a return visit.“

“Fun throwback to yesteryear. The hot food is good. Youngest said the chicken nuggets were the best he ever had. Chili cheese fries were ok. Might try the bacon cheese fries next time. Cowboy burger was tasty. Portions are just about right. The seasonal tests were awesome: cinnamon roll sundae... wow. Pumpkin pie shake... wow. Oldest said the apple cider shake was very good... different but very good. Youngest loved the Graham Slam hand dipped ice cream.“

“The place was very busy, but we were seated very quickly. The wait staff was attentive, keeping drinks refilled and taking dirty dishes away quickly. The food took some time to get due to the busyness of the restraunt but the food was VERY good. Good Irish food selection. I had Bangers and Mashed, and it was very good. Definitely will eat here again when I get back to Gettysburg.“

“Really liked my smashburger, wife didn't like her regular burger, underseasoned and very little blue cheese on her black and blue burger. Chips are good, fries are good. Beer cheese is awesome. Biggest complaint, I was trying to pay the parking outside and they refused to seat our table of 3 without all 3 of us standing there....like, the restaurant was dead at the time and I was outside paying parking...downloading an app, making a new account, adding a credit card...then paying. Why make them wait? Ridiculous.“

Reid's Winery Tasting Room and Cider House Wineries •
400 Baltimore St, Gettysburg - 7.29 miles

“I stopped in on a Saturday late afternoon. I had time to burn while waiting for my tour of the Jennie Wade house up the street and I saw this on the map. It’s a small place from what I saw, I sat on the closed in porch room and watched people and traffic passing from the window while I drank my cider. The cider was a bit too sweet for my preference, sort of more like a wine but a lot of people do like it that way. The bartenders were friendly. It looked like they might have outdoor seating behind the building but not totally sure if that was another business or a public area - there is an ice cream shop next door. I parked on the street. Meter parking payable to app or website. I think it was $2.50ish for 2 hours. I’d say if you like cider, stop in and give them a try. They do have wine too. I didn’t notice food options but maybe I just missed that because I wasn’t looking for any.“
