The business is run by an elderly couple who clearly enjoy their work even though they might not be a good as they were 30 years ago. But they're kind and take pride in the business. This is the closest you'll get to the quality of NYC chinese food in the area, though Lucky Star in Roxborough is a go to favorite as well.“

“I was looking for roast crispy duck. I didn't want to go to Chinatown because its gotten rundown, yucky traffic, expensive parking and horrible SEPTA. I decided to stay in my neighborhood so I could walk. I worried about it being expensive. Chestnut Hill is high end and the restaurant looked pricey. What a WONDERFUL SURPRISE! I was a solo table but still treated like a queen with lots of servers checking in, giving water and smiling. The roast duck in black bean sauce on the cast iron plate was SCRUMPTIOUS. It comes with a healthy side of white rice and delicate, flavorful bok choi. The skin was crispy yet NOT oily or greasy. The CHUNKS of tender duck meat were excellent. The sauce was thick, savory and yummy. FOODGASM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The portion was so healthy that I was able to take a container home for lunch the next day. Then I ordered the Mudslide ice cream pie for dessert. PERFECTION. Dense, creamy, sweet but not cloying with nut accents, fresh strawberries and cream as garnish. Cool treat on a humid Summer night. When the bill came, I was shocked that it was less than $40. I did not order a cocktail because I wanted to concentrate on the food. I gave them a big tip and said I am absolutely returning. I am also addicted to their spring rolls too. Two perfect crunchy flaky rolls filled with a balanced combination of shrimp, cheese, and cabbage that you can dip in duck sauce or mustard or just enjoy plain.“

“SIMPLY THE BEST CHINESSE RESTAURANT IN THE AREA. We go all the way from Hatboro to this place because is good. They put lots of different vegetables. It is the best in this area. It is not gourmet but the average Chinese restaurant is the best. The people is super nice. The guy cooking is real Chinese and you can tell that he cares. You go to other places, and they just put a bunch of broccoli with a little bit of sauce and they call it Vegie Mix, here, you get a variety of vegetables. The food WAS NOT salty at all, natural.“

“While exploring Chinese food options in my area I came across Golden Key Chinese restaurant in Eagleville PA. I ordered rice, won ton soup, and chicken lo main. I figured I'd keep it simple for my first visit. Wow!!!, I was really impressed with the quality of the meal. The rice was light and fluffy, like really fluffy. The won ton was great too. It had a larger noodle than I usually see, and the internal pork was extra seasoned. The lo main was just what I was looking for with a good noodle thickness and nicely chopped chicken and vegetables. The staff was very nice when I picked up my meal. Next time I will get an ice tea (in soup container) iykyk. I will be back, a lot.“

“Got a general tso combo platter. Super fast, the staff is very friendly, and the portion size is easily double anywhere else in east mount airy for a dollar or two less. Downside is the chicken was not crispy, and it was barely in the box for 5 minutes so i know it didnt get soggy that way. Also the fried rice and egg roll were only so so. Because of the huge portion im having some of the chicken for lunch the next day, 100 percent better cold so it isn't soggy.“

“My Mom and I went for lunch, and we were impressed at the lunch specials. They included a soup, drink, and lunch portion of your favorite combos. I believe we added an on an egg roll. Perfect amount of food and very tasty. I enjoyed the beef with broccoli special with fried rice. The shop is now available for dine-in again, but they do a ton of takeout, and the pricing was very reasonable.

“Best customer service experience I've had at a Chinese style take out place. I don't have pictures since we were so hungry. Love their beef, shrimp fried rice. Tried their vegetables coconut curry fried rice. If your a fan of cocunt curry style the rice is very nice balance of flavors. Hot & Spicey beef was another delicious dish. General Tso chicken wasn't a thick liquid of sugar like most places around here. Their’s has layered flavors which hits the spot. Their side hot chili oil is actually spicey and you don't need alot for those seeking a kick. I made a request to add garlic sauce to the vegetables dish and they were so accommodating. Highly recommend if your seeking a flavorful American Chinese experience. Americans reading this please stop pretending you want Chinese food from China.“

“The general tso's sauce IS the best! I get the general tso's tofu (don't knock it till ya try it) and it's great every single time. Their tofu(or whatever)+ broccoli (brown sauce) is really good as well. I don't usually get the fried rice but I recall it being decent. Not a sit in restaurant and it isn't the most welcoming store front as another person as mentioned, but the food is fast and delicious and I have never had a single issue.

The general tsos are super good and have a nice flavor and consistency and the wings are also great. I prefer their fried rice as a side to their lo mein but can't go wrong with either. While there's other dishes I love these are the must haves, I highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area and hungry for some Chinese takeout. Remember though, it's cash only.“
