“Red Star is a small town bar that has been around since I was a kid, the owner (Serb) is a wonderful man who contributes to the community and is Highly respected in this Area, if anyone has had any problems here then it was your own doing, they are not rude and welcome everyone who walks in the door. If you did have a problem and didn't speak to the owner about it then shame on you, he would have handled the situation. Red Star is a bar to sit down and listen to the old timers talk about the old days, have a drink and yes, smoke a cigarette. We are a small coal mining town who still love the good old fashioned ways of life.“
“This is my go to bar! I have been going since I turned 21 and I love it. I have sensory overload issues at most bars and clubs, but Mutts is always calm and comfortable. I truly feel at home when I am here. Usually I hate souvenir shirts, but I love this bar so much I actually bought a sweatshirt from them! I can't wait to enjoy more time at this amazing dive!“

“Definately a place to go if you want to be seen at a club. Always buisy so go early. People in here really dont talk to eachother though. It's kinda small. It is 2 floors with 2 bars and a couple lounge areas that's it. Drinks aren't bad for watered down club faire plus there are enough bartenders you dont have to wait until your inevitable death to get a drink. I'd go here again but it's not the kind of place you spend all night in.“

“Excellent food and service. The Manhattan chowder was very good and filling. The chicken quesadilla was very tasty and full of chicken as was the Caesar salad with the smoked chicken. The roast beef was tender and tasty. We stopped for lunch but could envision this a fun place in the evening when more people could “throw the axes”! There are back rooms for larger groups. Very clean and well maintained!“

“Great service. The waitress was nice and friendly. As well as very helpful. The food was spectacular. I had the loaded tots there to die for. My girlfriend got the double dog dare you wings. I would like to caution those who can't handle there heat well as I myself personally found them too spicy. But she loved them and if you like hot food you'll love them. Definitely will be back.“

“I met here with some friends for drinks and bowling We had a great time the wait staff was very polite and the food hit the spot. Definitely well worth the cost I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a place to kick back and watch football and have a good time.

“If you’re looking for a bar that is fun and energetic from the minute you walk in with cheap drinks you found it. When Toby Keith broke through an American flag chugging liquor out of a solo cup singing “I love this barIt's my kind of placeJust walkin' through the front doorPuts a big smile on my face” you absolutely without a doubt know he is talking about Squirrels. “Went here for the first time with a couple friends that live and work in Morgantown. It opens late so it's a place to go after dinner and drinking for a while. They have a couple large bars inside with a stage that has live bands on. Everything was great including the prices. It was busy but unlike some places you could still actually dance, walk around, and get to the bar when you needed a drink. Really nothing to complain about on this. If you want good music and the dance party atmosphere this is the place to go in Morgantown!“
