My mom’s blackened salmon with the pear/walnut salad was perfect. The gumbo rivaled any gumbo I’ve had in NOLA. A stole a bite of my sister’s molasses baked beans and the apple cider slaw…soooo good. “Went out with friends to Top Pot &KBBQ and it was great. There were so many options to pick for both the BbQ and hot pot. I really enjoyed the tom yum hot pot with shrimp, enoki, bean sprouts, sea weed, carrots, calamari, red snapper and some beef. The pork belly was super good on the bbq as well. The staff was really friendly and very helpful. After we couldn’t eat any more, we found out about the ice cream. The matcha ice cream was really really good. We were talking about coming back before we even left the restaurant. I can’t wait to come back, so I can try more stuff off the menu. The price is also definitely worth it. It’s a great place.“

Everyone was very kind from being greeted at door to being seated served and leaving. There was team work in cleaning tables waiting orders and we were very pleased with our meals.
Parm chicken and potatoe soup were amazing.“

“We had just arrived from out of town and decided to try this place around the corner from our hotel based on reviews and within walking distance. Great atmosphere, welcomed by the staff, and taken to our booth upon arriving. There were five of us and we all tried different food items. Everything was well prepared and tasted great. We especially appreciated our waitress who was very attentive to our needs. She went the extra mile in helping us out with one of our children who has food allergies.“

“We had sushi here last weekend. Service was quick, food was good, price was reasonable. Only issue was we had a little of a smell sitting in the back by bathroom. Got wiffs of sewage. I still recommend going, just sit in the front by the windows.“

Service was okay, not overly friendly.

We just ordered the spared ribs with fried rice and an egg roll. We forgot to get boneless spareribs. It would have had more meat than bone as the bone in was a bit tough.

Prices were very reasonable for that area.“
