“Prices were very reasonable for the size of the food. We definitely enjoyed our food and atmosphere. The waitress was very helpful, I will definitely be coming back out when we can again,we live almost 2 and 1/2 hours away.

We only spent $28 for full plates and the drinks were double what we'd normally get at restaurants.

“My husband and I really miss Friendly's. We saw the sign and said let's get lunch. They nolonger have the parry melt, my favorite and my hubby love mozzarella sticks. They used to have tiny ones that were fantastic. The new mozzarella was good. The food was good, the service was slow and it was freezing inside. The bathroom was clean, that is always a plus. The service was outstanding, and the food was highly enjoyable. The French Onion Soup was delicious with a unique puff pastry topping. “We stopped in today for a late lunch as we have always driven by and always wanted to try this cute place. It wasn’t busy and we were seated right away, the staff were very welcoming. We ordered our food and the appetizer came out right away! We had the pierogies and they were so good! I had a salad that was on special, and my daughters each had the cesear salad and a burger. Everything was delicious! The service was excellent, Mackenzie was our server and she was very attentive. We will definitely be back!!“

“The other reviewer is right...the beer is cold! Rarely do I ever get served a Coors Light bottle as cold as it is at the American Hotel. The bartender Kat is so easy going and down to earth and exemplifies what a bartender should be like. Great service from her, good wings (I always get the butter, garlic, parm), cheap beers, and the atmosphere is so laid back--locals just having a drink and socializing. The interior is old school which I love and the vibes are really positive. This is the only bar I frequent in town. No bars in Lehighton, Jim Thorpe, Brodheadsville compare. Cool place. Good people. Good vibes.“

“my friend and I really enjoyed our food- i had the half rack of ribs w/fries, side salad & soup. She got the parmesean crusted chicken, sweet potato, side salad & soup. I know it's August but it was FREEZING in there!!! I used my walker to get in, which i always do, and it took a bit for them to send a server over because they couldn't figure out what to do with my walker, which is why I knocked it down a star. I'm not really sure about the handicap accessibility because the tables weren't spread apart enough for my walker to get through to get to the restroom unless I moved them out of the way, which I did. so that was unpleasant. the bathrooms were clean.
the best part was Justin our server. love, love, LOVE HIM!!!!!!!!!! if I ever end up going back, I'd request him as my server. he was upbeat, pleasant, always checking in, made sure we were okay. when we got in, I was really dizzy and asked if he had any pickles so the room would stop spinning, he disappeared and was back with pickles before he even took our drink order! he doesn't know it, but I don't produce salt so I was on the verge of needing my emergency injection and he kept me from passing out. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 he needs all the stars, recognition and promotion.

“I wanted to review on Google because the rating is unfairly low. We went to Log Cabin during our stay at Camelback and it was fantastic. I didn't realize they were just about to close but they sat us and were very attentive. Tabitha was an amazing server and deserves the highest tips. Do not sleep on the crab cake sliders, they are to die for. Everything we had was great and all the staff were extremely friendly and fun. My only issue is we don't live closer!“

“we usually have good experiences here. last night, however, was horrible. my kids got their food and the waitress forgot mine. My son's chicken fried steak was partially raw. My other son ordered chicken strips for an appetizer and it was served with his dinner. I asked for extra sauce and had to ask again. she never came back to the table once we were done and waited 20 minutes. We had to ask for our Togo dinner which was never put in the kitchen and we placed the order when we ordered our food. I did mention to the cashier that I was unhappy with the service and it seemed like she was just brushing me off. only said I'm sorry. not what happened or anything and only seemed interested in me paying. it wasnt even busy. sorry to say, we won't be back.“
