I had a bowl of spicy tonkatsu And a cucumber avocado roll. Both dishes were perfect. They may have some of the best jammy eggs I've had in ramen before. Place it top shelf all the way and cannot recommend enough.“

“I'm shocked I do not have a photo of the Salmon Bento that I have gotten at least 20 times already. I usually have it delivered via Uber Eats and it's so good that I dive right in when I get it! It comes with perfectly cooked salmon on a bed of sauteed broccoli and onions in a yummy teriyaki sauce. The sides are shrimp and veggie tempura, gyoza, California rolls, and white rice. You know when you find that one go-to restaurant that eases even the worst day at work? Sakura is that restaurant for me!

If you want the bento at a cheaper price - try the lunch specials; it's equally delicious!

I highly recommend this place and will continue to order hopefully for years to come!

“I am a bit of a sushi efficianado and this place blows me away every time. The freshness of their ingredients set it apart. they carefully construct their bowls and I haven't had a dissapointing roll yet. It's also extremely affordable. I really recommend the Poke bowl. If you're a fan of sushi this place is a must try.“

“Honestly amazing food. I got takoyaki and tonkatsu ramen, both of which were amazing. The takoyaki were obviously freshly made, and tasted delicious, and the ramen was flavorful and rich. I got chashu pork in my ramen and my only regret is not ordering extra meat, because it was so tender and flavorful. It was all very reasonably priced, especially considering how massive the portion of ramen was. My entire meal came out to around $20.“

“Hey get there fast
This seems to be a family owned well run restaurant
After landing in philly and resting a few hours i walked to the acme from my airbnb for wine and minor things but i saw fuki sushi was across the street along side the peruvian chicken joint. I got a couple pieces of chicken from the peruvian chicken joint (i will review them on another post) and i decided to eat at fuki sushi and let me say i was no ways disappointed. This joint is slamming and smacking. I had a Japanese lycee soda (with the marble in it) but i lost the smacker for the marble so the waiter said i will bring you another no sir just charge me for both and we good. I love lycees but this had the slight flavor of lycee but it will have to do until i get back to the east.
The food
I had pan fried chicken pot stickers which were so delicious
I had the dragon roll sushi which was busy spicy hot and flavorful
It was all so good
This place was busy with lots of take out orders
But i recommend grabbing a table
Eating and enjoying the meal immediately
I will return before i leave but this place is a 5 star joint

“I love the poke bowls at this place; they have different toppings that seem very healthy to me. The drinks are also very varied. I recommend it because I'm someone who enjoys eating delicious food, and the staff has always been very friendly to me.🥗🙌“

“My daughter said that she was looking to have sushi for lunch today, so we decided to give Herosame in Ardmore a try. Wow, this is one of the best sushi meals we've had in the Philly area and definitely on the Main Line. I called in our takeout order and the server who took our order was very friendly and polite as was the server who brought us our order while we waited in the vestibule. We ordered the Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box and the Lunch Triple Roll Combo. Wow! I thought they had accidentally give us another person's order as the bags were quite heavy. Both lunch specials could easily be split over two meals or at least a meal and a leftovers snack. The Lunch Shrimp Teriyaki Bento Box included a small house salad, a pint of Miso Soup, 2 Shumai, a California Roll, 6 large Teriyaki Shrimp and a pint of steamed white rice. The salad was a crisp and refreshing spring mix with thinly shredded carrots and a halved grape tomato with a delicious dressing. The Miso soup was very rich and tasty. The Shumai were delicious with a nice crisp exterior, but soft, tender and enjoyable meat inside. The California Roll was huge and stuffed with super fresh crab stick and vegetables topped off with tobiko. The Teriyaki Shrimp were just a hair overcooked, but still delicious. The Three Roll Lunch Combo featured a choice of three rolls from a list of twenty different rolls so my daughter picked the Shrimp Avocado Roll, Tempura Roll and Philly Roll. All three rolls, just like my Bento Box's California Roll were huge with the Shrimp Tempura Rolls being gigantic. One piece of the tempura roll was at least twice the size of other sushi rolls I've had. Each roll was stuffed with the traditional meats and veggie fillings. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Herosame will definitely be on our family's list for future Japanese lunches and dinners!“

“My go to byob sushi place in media! The food is always so fresh and amazing. The rock shrimp tempura and calamari are so good with the side sauces they come with. We have been ordering delivery once a week since the quarantine (min order of $25 to qualify). They are offering credit card payment over the phone, and the delivery man safely passed off our order from a distance while wearing gloves. “New Leaf is a Manayunk staple for sushi and Asian cuisine. I’ve ordered delivery and dine-in, and it’s never disappointed.

“My family of 10 went for a birthday. We had a great time. The food was delicious. The performance was extremely entertaining. The fire volcano was iconic! Everyone loved that. The service was top notch. We all had a great time and will be coming back. I felt that the price was worth the experience. It was about $35 a person. More then half of us ordered the steak.“

“First impressions, trying to park was a bit confusing I still don't know if parking where I did is right. there is a small area around the restaurant that seems like it could be parking but no lines or guidance out front. Also this place is really small looking on the outside. As soon as I walked in it felt really awkward.i almost walked back out because everyone was just staring at me. Finally after what seemed like forever the sushi chef greeted me. When I was seated the waitress took my order and served me promptly. The miso soup was delicious. The edamame tasted fresh. The prices are a bit more than what I'm use to. I also had the sushi and sashimi lunch combo. The fish tasted very fresh and cleaned very well. Which explains the price. I would come back. Give it a try.

Parking: Unsure of the actual parking situation. Nothing is marked it was weird for me parking in front of the restaurant“

“The service was top notch and the atmosphere was pleasant. I had the Manhattan Roll, it was a new one for me and it was great. My main entree was the General Tao's Chilean Sea Bass and that did not disappoint. We will definitely be going back and hopefully sooner.rather than later.“

“My family and I have been a customer here for years. We met Jae right as he was opening the restaurant and have been coming ever since. We cannot recommend the sushi here enough - absolutely delicious, wide menu, and interesting special options for bigger groups. Don’t be surprised if Jae himself comes by your table to check in. Environment is also friendly for kids. Just be sure to check the operating days and hours carefully so you are not disappointed if you arrive to find it closed. “My family had a wonderful time here for my son's 11th birthday! He wanted to try out the hibachi experience, so we reserved a hibachi table. There was another family at the table across from us enjoying a meal as well. The food was incredible (though not one of us managed to catch a piece of it in our mouths), my husband said it was the best meal he's had all year. The hibachi room is decorated with murals of video game & cartoon characters like Mario & SpongeBob, which was great because my son is a gamer. Online ordering can be finnicky if ordering Lunch specials though, the site's clock seems to think it's an hour later than it actually is so you can't submit an order containing lunch specials after 2pm despite them being available until 3pm. You get an error telling you it's after 3pm & that you have to change your order, however calling to order them was no issue.“
