“I finally made it in! This spot did not disappoint. High quality taste, ample serving size (i can eat it in 3 servings) and a great cooking team, for the cost. I ordered the seafood salad and a scampi shrimp bowl. There is a wait as the food is cooked while you are there. Great job guys!“

“This place seriously has some of the best shawarma I’ve ever had. The meat is perfectly seasoned, and packed with flavor, and the wrap is always fresh and warm. But the real star is the sauce, I’ve never tried anything like it ! If you love shawarma, this place is an absolute must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!“

It was awesome. The staff are friendly and accommodating to your preferences. Since this my first time trying it. They explained what was available and that they will make it the way you like it.

“Must try the matcha+black magic combo on waffle! Matcha is my fav. So happy they have that flavor and it tastes GOOD! I used to have to go all the way to Chinatown to get that matcha ice cream. Staffs are friendly too, one of my fav places to go in the area now.“

“I visited the truck during my lunch break to pick up lunch for me and my mother. We both got the chicken over rice with the salad. The man in the truck was very nice and personable. The person in front of me ordered six plates, and he served them promptly. When it was my turn order, he greeted me warmly and served the food fairly quickly. The food is delicious and the portions are great, the meal comes with a drink as well. it's a plentiful serving because I only ate half for dinner and had the other half the next day for lunch and it was just as delicious. I think overall, you can't beat the delectable taste with the price. 10/10“

“Kelly and Amarildo at Byzantine Empire were absolutely amazing as the catering service for my wedding (~50-60 people) in the Philadelphia suburbs a few weeks ago. Before the event, they were extremely helpful and responsive. For the day of, the portions were very generous and the cost was very reasonable. All of my guests raved about the food and no one left hungry. We had a grazing table, served apps, and the mains were salmon, lamb shank (this is what I had and it was awesome), and a beef rib cheesesteak (huge!). Individual creme brulees were served instead of a cake which were delicious. I highly recommend them.“
“We ordered Door Dash and everything was delicious. I had Bourbon chicken, combo, family had sesame chicken combo and General TSO chicken and bbq boneless ribs. All was so good. Food was hot, plenty of it. Egg rolls were good. We will be back! Boneless ribs had a good portion too.“

Service was fast and friendly — guys behind the counter were welcoming and got orders out lightning quick even during the rush. Atmosphere is no-frills (classic halal cart/truck vibe inside), but super clean and welcoming.
