“I was excited to hear we have a new restaurant offering something different for the area and it lived up to my hopes! Lots of options for dim sum, noodles, and some regional dishes like Chongqing chicken make this different from most of the standard fare American Chinese options nearby.

We had spicy pork bun, gyoza, scallion pancakes, and the chicken cumin noodles. All were good but definitely recommend the buns and cumin noodles in particular!

Our order was ready in under 15 min on a Friday night, so it seems they're getting into the groove. Definitely will come again the next time those cravings hit for dumplings or noodles!“

We had a special request for my little one, plain lo mein, just sauce and noodles they listened and prepared and labelled it correctly. It was raining that day and they took the time to wrap all of their heavy weight paper bags in plastic for us. They provided ample napkins, soy sauce, and forks without prompting. Again they take care... The food was good, chicken was a high quality. There was a nice mix of veggies in the chicken lo mein. I liked the way the chicken was cut up in the lo mein as well.“

“Easily some of the best takeout I had in a long time. Everything tasted so fresh (especially the egg rolls!!), and the platters were big at a reasonable cost. They even have a nice vegan selection, which is an added bonus for those in need. This spot definitely stands out compared to all of the other places I've tried in Delco.

“Solid neighborhood take-out spot. What I personally like about South Ocean in Flourtown is the variety of Asian cuisines: Chinese, Japanese, & Thai. You can order sweet and sour chicken, or sushi. My go-to dish is the green curry; either with chicken or with vegetables. Very nice staff, quick pick-up, and fairly priced. 👍🏻“

“I have been coming here since a child and it’s still brings me back to the nostalgic magic. I felt as a child reminiscing with my children. Now the owner and her staff are absolutely incredible human beings and make you want to go back. The food is just a plus that it is five star in all directions. “We hesitated briefly about hiring a "day of" planner for our daughter's New Year's Eve wedding. We are so happy we did, and that we hired Ang. She helped us in so many ways, I can't even begin to mention them all. We just knew everything would go smoothly, and it did! A perfect example is what a disabled guest shared with me: Ang greeted her at the reception venue, asked her where she wanted to sit during the cocktail hour, and what she wanted to eat and drink, and she checked back with her several times. That guest is so appreciative of being treated that way. The icing on the cake was that she drove my wife and I home at 1:00 a.m. after she gathered all of the important things we needed to take with us. She is just the best.“

“First time here (2/22/25) and it was great. I had beef Pho and my wife had shrimp and chicken fried rice. Both were fantastic. Her fried rice was one of the best I’ve had in a really long time. I’ll def be back for that. The pho broth was great. The only thing different here than other places I’ve had Pho was that they didn’t give me mint with the jalapeño and bean sprouts. The service was a little slow as they were pretty busy but the owner was very apologetic. Almost too much but it was greatly appreciated because normally you don’t get that type of treatment. Even though the food came out slow he was top notch with keeping my water filled which is my primary must when it comes to restaurant service. And although it was just him working the front of the house he was serving everybody so attentively. And I think his wife was the only person in the back of the house. They did a wonderful job. Also that gave s a small salad that was quite tasty. I don’t know what kind of dressing it was but it was pretty darn good. Oh and we had the veggie spring rolls and chicken kabobs, both also good.“

We have been ordering delivery once a week since the quarantine (min order of $25 to qualify). They are offering credit card payment over the phone, and the delivery man safely passed off our order from a distance while wearing gloves.
