“Today my daughter and I enjoyed the most delicious lunch at One 13 Social in downtown Carlisle. Small plates are elegant and perfect for lunch. Mine was Spoonbread Shrimp, extraordinarily creative flavors : salty olive tapanade, savory grilled shrimp, and sweet cornbread with honey butter. New to their terrific menu, hope it stays!! I tip my hat to the chef.“

“The atmosphere was elegant, but not stuffy. The menu was smaller than some restaurants, but that allowed the food to be prepared excellently. We had a party of six, with varying tastes and everyone was able to find something on the menu. Everyone enjoyed their meal and had nothing but good things to say. We will definitely return, so we can try other items.“

“Just leaving this place. We were hesitant to try it because of the reviews but our experience was entirely opposite.. Quick Service, great food, great portions and pricing was good. I will definitely come back“

“I have loved Allenberry for years, but as of today (July 26 2025) I’m wondering if you switched restaurant managers or head chefs? We just had the strangest menu selections and did you change the interior of the Barn? It was perfect the way it was. You offer Chilean sea bass but the breeches is filled with trout yet don’t offer it? I can hear Gordon Ramseys voice in my head asking you guys why you don’t have something local and fresh. I’m no connoisseur, but meat/poultry/fish is best when sourced locally. A bit disappointed by this last visit. Will be back, because you’re a staple, but maybe not the time after next. We’ll see.“

“Went with family for a Birthday. We were a party of 6 about 5:10 or so. They said we could be seated right away and we were. All appetizers were excellent--fish tacos, mozzarella planks and chicken queso Dias and salads. All excellent. Various dinners of a special Filet mignon wrapped in bacon, risotto, blackened shrimp skewer and asparagus. The steak had a glaze of steak sauce of some sort blended with red wine. Another two persons chose the crab cake and New York strip with two sides, another lasagna dinner and last person ordered the honey infused broasted chicken half with mashed and vegetable of the day which was Veggie medley. We were al delighted with our dinner fare and apps and totally full but opted for deserts to go of Peanut Butter pie, Coconut cake and Creme Broulee. Everyone was verbal in saying they were so glad we went here for Birthday dinner. Thanks for the great time, quick table and excellent service. Hats off to Jordan our server.“
