“Coming back for the pasta - wish I had ordered more! Still one of my favorites over the last few years.Bread - I appreciate the flaky sea salt. It did not come with olive oil.Polpette - 6 meatballs with good texture. Enough marinara for your bread.Agnolotti - Wonderfully handmade pasta. We shared, but I wish I hadn’t. The best sausage-like filling and velvety chicken broth sauce.Costoletta d’Agnello - Perfectly medium rare lamb chops with the right amount of seasoning. Foam was a little flat, but the dijon mustard sauce goes will with everything on the plate. The duck was not on the menu, so this was my second choice.Tiramisu - Classic and beautiful. Required.Spiced Almond Oil Cake - Balanced almond flavors with great texture. I appreciate the house made whipped cream. I usually don’t like cake, but I would eat this again.“
“This is an interesting space. A little on the load side but service was really good. We tried a few of the smaller plates and all were very good. The chorizo iberico was tasty and worth trying, the curdo. of yellow tail sashimi with some apple and arauco olive oil was a real hit. The olive oil had a tomato and grassy flavor and really made the flavor of the yellow tail stand out. The arancini was OK, try something else. Another really big hit was the Angusto, strip lion, prefectly cook, tender and some of the best strip steak that we have had in a very long time. Hats off to the chef and the imported beef, you won't be disappointed.“
“Overall, we had a mixed experience at the restaurant. While the service was good, there were some issues with the food quality control during our visit. The burrata was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the cheeseburgers. However, we were disappointed to find that the capers in the steak tartare had a moldy odor to them, and the Lobster Mac was overly salty, making it inedible. Despite these setbacks, Manager David promptly addressed the issues, which we appreciated.“
“Incredible, what felt like world-class service imo. Some of the best interaction I've had with waitstaff. Me and my 2 friends had some samples which were graciously explained and provided by someone who knows their stuff, and then we happily settled on some wines. Got to learn a bit about Italy which was unexpected but welcome! Nothing but a good time here if you're with good company, without a doubt.Do know you can bring your own food, they don't serve any here besides some pistachios :)“
“This is my third or fourth visit to the Vandal and I continue to be impressed. The service is terrific. The ambience is nice casual. There is a small careful menu. And once again for me, as on previous visits, the appetizers totally shine. Everyone of them is interesting. A bit out of the box a bit playful and just as yummy as the description. I'm not usually a big dessert person, but the toffee cake was very delicious.“
“Absolutely love Ruby’s. We have been here twice now and it’s super convenient as it’s close to home for us. Love the drinks, the special cocktails are always cute and seasonal! The food we have tried has always tasted amazing. I would give them 5 stars but I have to say the pricing is very upscale and too high in my opinion. I agree with a previous review on this topic. We spent more here than we do at most upscale restaurants we visit for anniversaries/birthdays. As much as we love it we will probably only come for one drink and an app next time due to the pricing. Overall a very fun, great experience!“
“The appetizers and my meal were delicious! Service was wonderful. My only qualm is how small the dining area is… it feels very crammed and it is hard to converse with who you’re with. I can easily overlook this for the food & will definitely be back!“
“Live music and great wine made locally from grapes harvested around the world at this boutique urban winery. Such a Pittsburgh treasure. Highly recommend that you come and check this out. Make a day, an evening, or a happy hour out of it. Well worth your time!“
“Amazing wine & cocktail bar that also serves small bites! They have a well curated wine list and specialty cocktails, an assortment of meat, cheeses and other small plates like pate and dips. Service is great and they give great recommendations. Aesthetic is fun and cozy.“
“Our server Melanie was fantastic the food was amazing. I have sea bass which was the best I have had. The sashimi was out of this world. Desserts were soooo great. Brought cookies home there were so many and the lemon cheesecake was delicious. I loved the atmosphere and perfect ambience. Thank you for making our last night in Pittsburgh perfect.“
“Bar Marco has been, and remains our favorite in the city. Everything is excellent from the welcoming service, to the cocktails tailored to your tastes, to the food and the atmosphere. If you want a delicious meal and good wine, this is the place.“
“Seriously, the best thing in our area. Donella our waitress was fantastic and kept us happy the whole meal. It was my birthday and i got to pick the restaurant. I was under pressure , as my friends can be a lot! They loved everything about this place. The homemade manicotti was the best I’ve ever eaten. Cannoli for dessert was exceptional! I’ll be back for sure.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pasta option.“
