“My husband & I were on our way to a Phillies game yesterday when it got postponed. The next exit off the NE Extension was Harleysville to turn around. I hopped on Yelp! and found Jesse’s - we wanted to eat before heading back home to Berks County. We are SO glad we did! The BEST BBQ ever!! The staff was super friendly & helpful with recommendations, since it was our first time. We went with the BBQ Sampler & added cornbread muffins with honey butter. EVERYTHING was delicious! I’m, personally, not a lover of ribs…they might have been my favorite!!! Looks like we have a new place to stop when we are heading to Phillies games!!! Or we need to find reasons to go to Souderton so we can get to Jesse’s more often!!“

“Had Mission for 1st time tonight in North Myrtle Beach SC. Wow!!! Food was great! The customer service was top notch. The stores Ambassador Kristy is the perfect person for that role. She was greeting everyone that came in and regularly visited tables to make sure all were happy. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!!“

“I ordered the 1/2 pound brisket with Texas-style beans and mac and cheese, and overall, I was really impressed.

The brisket was the standout—very juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. On its own, it was already delicious, but adding the BBQ sauce took it to another level. Each sauce brought something different, so it was fun trying the brisket with each one.

The Texas-style beans were also excellent. I really enjoyed the slight sweetness, and the jalapeños added just enough heat to balance it out. The combination gave the beans a nice sweet-and-spicy flavor without being overwhelming.

The mac and cheese is where I have to admit I’m probably a little biased. Growing up eating soul food, my standards for mac and cheese are pretty high. It was good and perfectly enjoyable, but I’d describe it as fairly standard. That said, I’m not taking any points off for it because finding a BBQ spot with truly exceptional mac and cheese is rare to begin with. Overall, I’d happily come back.“

“We having been using Javelin Caterers for the last several years to host my wife's school prom. The food has always been fantastic and plenty of options to choose from. They allow us to customize the menu for teenagers and no one beats their price. It's nice to know you can count on someone to be on time and deliver a quality product, they even provide some staff to help with getting everyone served.
