“The food was great, and the staff was also great The only negative thing I can say is that we were told they had no reservation in my name because they don't work with open table . Luckily, it was a slow day and we were still able to get a table.“

“SIMPLY THE BEST CHINESSE RESTAURANT IN THE AREA. We go all the way from Hatboro to this place because is good. They put lots of different vegetables. It is the best in this area. It is not gourmet but the average Chinese restaurant is the best. The people is super nice. The guy cooking is real Chinese and you can tell that he cares. You go to other places, and they just put a bunch of broccoli with a little bit of sauce and they call it Vegie Mix, here, you get a variety of vegetables. The food WAS NOT salty at all, natural.“

“Shout out to Doylestown Great Wall Chinese on Easton Ave near Fred Beans Subaru. I don't know if they have a new chef or new owners, but my Friday night meal delivered for 2 adults and 3 children for under $50 with delivery tip was OUTSTANDING!!! Especially loved the Green Curry chicken and coconut soup! (Yes, that's more Thai food then Chinese, but everybody loved their non-Thai food too) Hope they keep it up! — at Doylestown Great Wall.“

“The service was very good at Wing Lee. The food was ok. All food items came out very hot. They do not have egg rolls. The spring rolls were ok, not what I usually prefer. Portion sizes for the entrees was medium compared to other restaurants and rice was small, im sure they'd bring more rice if needed. In the photos is sesame chicken, the coconut shrimp special, and boneless spare ribs, all tasted good. The place is worth a try, you might like it“

“The people who run this are really nice. First time ordering here since 2020, we had a small issue and let them know, and they apologized and went out of their way to make it up to us. Overall extremely satisfied and appreciative of the wonderful service! The food is great and the pricing is better than other nearby places. Can't ask for a better place for Chinese food.“
“We ordered something simple on Thanksgiving Day. Fried wontons were so good. The food was great we had a lot of disappointing Chinese food restaurant experiences lately and I have to say we tried this one out and it was just good.
Thank you for making us the fried wontons and boneless spare ribs! =]“

“Today was my first time ordering from this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. It was so fresh. I had sweet and sour pork and the hot and sour soup. It was the best soup ever! It's the only Chinese restaurant I will order from in the future. Also, the person who took my order was so friendly as was the delivery person. And the food was nice and hot when it was delivered! Thank you!“
“You can order online from a website that kindly reminds you what it was like on the internet in the 00's, before every millimeter of your screen was optimized and monetized. Things are misspelled (Chicken w/ borcolli; Singapore Rice Noodel) in a way that doesn't interfere with intelligibility, and provides yet another reminder of charm from a past you might not have experienced but can still, if only faintly, remember. Similarly, the interior harkens to a China that likely doesn't exist and never existed, but is convenient for the American perception. A large palm stands tall yet sheds two or three yellow leaves, suggesting that most attention is paid by staff behind the counter, not in front of it. A calendar shows an impossibly skinny Chinese woman looking at you genially. The wallpaper combines shades of jade and a muted yellow which, alongside the mahogany-colored chairs and tables, creates an inviting environment to wait for your food, seemingly on accident (though one can never be too sure).
It's a casual experience from start to finish. It weighs only very lightly on you, and the action causing the most resistance is when you try make a final decision on what you'll be ordering. The prices are cheap--one order of food, for just one person, could feed you for three whole meals. Therefore, this decision has a three day consequence--and don't be fooled by the casual nature of everything, there are definitely wrong choices. Any non-breaded chicken you order will be soggy and formless, and most beef will be similar. However, the spare rib and the breaded chicken (specifically General Tso's) are full of flavor and savory texture, as is the pork-fried rice, as are the eggrolls. The canned sodas from the fridge even taste better than store bought.
The family who owns the place are incredibly kind, even in the face of hardship. I ordered on Christmas Eve when they were absolutely swamped, since no other restaurants in the area were open. In total I waited 2 hours for my food, as did other patrons whom I waited with. We were all given an entire bag of Chinese tea candies as a token of the staff's appreciation, as were handed the bag with a disproportionate amount of glee and genuine cheer. I also live near some of the people who own/work the place, and they are some of the only people in the neighborhood willing to be vulnerable enough to smile and wave as neighbors cross their path. They are caring and patient towards their young children as well, and they work their tails off.
American-Chinese takeout, like most things for sale in today's markets, is both great and terrible for you. The levels of sodium, if consumed everyday, would cause severe inflammation in your body. However, your pockets will be happy that you chose to settle down with a 9 dollar 3000 calorie deal instead of doordashing Popeyes and paying $30 for it. And, most importantly, something in your soul will feel called to, catered to, held, and loved. Food is love, and that is one of the few human universals. New China JAMISON is a method for tapping into this love on an as-needed basis, and offers even more in terms of nostalgia and warmth for those with the minds open to perceive it. I give them 4/5 stars.“

“We were recommended to try this restaurant through a Facebook group, and we’re so glad we listened! From the very first bite, we were blown away. The food is incredibly authentic—absolutely scrumptious and full of flavor without being overwhelming. Every dish felt hearty, satisfying, and clearly made with care. We’re so happy to have discovered this gem. Can’t wait to try more!“

“My Mom and I went for lunch, and we were impressed at the lunch specials. They included a soup, drink, and lunch portion of your favorite combos. I believe we added an on an egg roll. Perfect amount of food and very tasty. I enjoyed the beef with broccoli special with fried rice. The shop is now available for dine-in again, but they do a ton of takeout, and the pricing was very reasonable.
I would recommend checking them out! I will be coming back because I want to try their sushi menu. There were sushi lunch specials as well.“

“Service was prompt and very friendly. This establishment is mostly takeout. There are couple of tables if you choose to sit but not much for ambiance. The food is excellent. We had ordered Singapore Mai fun, fried rice, mix vegetables in white sauce. I love the fact that they do not overload the food with sugar. Everything was seasoned perfectly. I never ever have to ask for additional sauce. This is my go to for Chinese food. BTW, they have a website. You can look up their full menu there also.“

“Very good local Chinese food. Consistently good food and quick service. This place does take out only. The kitchen is open so its easy to see they keep everything very clean. The owners and staff are friendly and they give us a calendar every year around xmas. Definitely my go too Chinese spot, and by far the best in the area.“

“My family and I order from here periodically. The people there are always friendly and courteous. The food is always ready on time and is tasty each time. If I had to conjure a complaint, it would be that I have a hard time getting my food as spicy as I like it to be. But to be fair, I have the same problem wherever I order chinese food.“
“This new Chinese restaurant inside the Giant supermarket is under new management... The food is a lot better than the previous Chinese food that had been there for years. I would definitely recommend... it is a perfect place for lunch which I get almost every work day. You can order off the menu or get something from the hot bar... So try out the food and give them a chance.“

“This place is unassuming but the best food I ever had! The man could be heard clearly on the phone, he didn’t rush when I ordered. He also made sure to double check what I ordered as he put it into the bag. They are a very traditional restaurant with a lot of heart. Try the wonton soup! Very flavorful broth with nice large wontons, and a good amount. Definitely worth the money!“

“I've been on the hunt for Crispy Beef in the area for years now, and little did I know that this hole in the wall Chinese take out place in a reasonably empty strip mall serves it. And it was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be back here.“

“Been here a few times now, the food is always so delicious and the service is great. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant and bathrooms are always very clean. It's a blend of Chinese and Japanese so we grabbed some Chef's choice sushi and sesame chicken. Have not had a bad experience here and will be back again. Definitely worth a stop.“

“Above average Chinese takeout spot. I've learned to not take it too personally when owners/employees at Chinese takeout places are short with you, as it's more of a they're busy/cultural thing than them actually being rude/mean. I will say that while they have changed over to smaller containers (as ALL takeout places seem to have done), they do still pile in the food. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt for being a hardworking mom and pop shop, and give them 4 stars.
*One thing of note - I feel that they are consistently bad at providing an accurate pick up/delivery time, so I would add at least 10 minutes to whatever time they give you. Also, not a fan of places that use pick up numbers (as opposed to names or telephone numbers).“

“The food my family has had here is about as authentic as we’ve ever found for Chinese American restaurants (minus being in Chinatown in one of the major cities). Pork fried rice tastes as it did when I visited Hong Kong. Can’t beat the lunch special price and amount you get for it. The owner is very attentive and friendly. Never had a bad experience while there. We usually dine in rather than take out. It is basic inside, which is the only reason I gave atmosphere one less star, but what matters to me most is food, and that has always been A+. There is a small lot behind the restaurant for free parking, and also a local lot right down the street.“

“It was very good and it made me strive for more of this food. I recommend this place because the food is amazing and it cooks quickly and the people are nice and welcoming. Please stop bye and give this place a chance. I gave atmosphere only four stars because it was cold. But it was okay! Come and take some of your time to visit here! :)“

“Angie Baker is full of it dude, idk never once had an issue in 8+ years, never once caught a stray order, the worst that ever happened to us with our meticulous instructions is that they gave us the wrong soda, and when I let them know they told us to keep it, brought us the correct one. Never disappointed by quality, speed, or price. Genuinely love her establishment!“

“This has been my family's go-to place since at least the early 2000's. It's the Chinese food that I compare all other Chinese food to! From PF Changs, to Chinatown, I've never found anything I liked better.
I live an hour away now & yesterday I had some sub-par food from a completely different establishment that's more local to me. I HAD to make the trip to China Wok today to get the GOOD Chinese. 😋 Was & always will be 1000% worth it! 💜🥠“

“Chin’s Kitchen in Doylestown is a family owned and operated restaurant. The owner is friendly , caring and will prepare all dishes with any specific need or change requested. The food is always fresh and prepared when ordered. If there is something about your order that you don’t like , simply tell Jo Jo the owner and she and her husband the head chef will address it immediately. There will be times that an entree or appetizer maybe a bit “off “…. No problem , the team will address the issue. It’s a great neighborhood restaurant with friendly , courteous staff and very good food. To those critics who have previously posted , I ask , did you bring your issue to management’s attention and give them a chance to make it right ?.“

“Very good overall. As part of trying different Chinese restaurants i ordered the General Tso chicken and sweet and sour chicken combination platters. Portions were good and the eggs rolls were excellent. The General tso chicken was very spicy, I love spicy but this was a little unexpected. It did not ruin the meal. The sweet and sour chicken was good.“
“Order lunch here often when at work, a favorite of mine and my coworkers! The egg rolls are heavy and you can actually see the meat, the owner and his wife are very nice people. Also, they are not stingy on the duck sauce or hot mustard they give you plenty and will give you extra. Very good for the price too! They also accept all cards and don’t interrogate you for cash or a different card type.“

Just remember not everyone out there especially in these tough times has the extra money to give n this driver expects it every single time. Nothing but ignorant n has no respect for customers.“

“I really like the food at wild ginger 2. The sushi rolls, spring rolls, and green curry are fantastic. I only dislike the takeout process. It took 55 minutes to fill my order one time and when I went to pick it up, the ladies at the front looked confused. They didn't have my order ready and I waited as orders after mine were picked up. I was hoping they would discount my order for the mistake but that did not happen.“

“Pleasantly surprised upon finally finding a very solid Chinese restaurant. We’ve been in the area over 2 years and have lamented the lack of great Chinese food until my delivery order just came. I had orange chicken and steamed pork dumplings. Both were great. I don’t usually order orange chicken but glad I did tonight. I’ll be back for sure“
