“I was looking for roast crispy duck. I didn't want to go to Chinatown because its gotten rundown, yucky traffic, expensive parking and horrible SEPTA. I decided to stay in my neighborhood so I could walk. I worried about it being expensive. Chestnut Hill is high end and the restaurant looked pricey. What a WONDERFUL SURPRISE! I was a solo table but still treated like a queen with lots of servers checking in, giving water and smiling. The roast duck in black bean sauce on the cast iron plate was SCRUMPTIOUS. It comes with a healthy side of white rice and delicate, flavorful bok choi. The skin was crispy yet NOT oily or greasy. The CHUNKS of tender duck meat were excellent. The sauce was thick, savory and yummy. FOODGASM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The portion was so healthy that I was able to take a container home for lunch the next day. Then I ordered the Mudslide ice cream pie for dessert. PERFECTION. Dense, creamy, sweet but not cloying with nut accents, fresh strawberries and cream as garnish. Cool treat on a humid Summer night. When the bill came, I was shocked that it was less than $40. I did not order a cocktail because I wanted to concentrate on the food. I gave them a big tip and said I am absolutely returning. I am also addicted to their spring rolls too. Two perfect crunchy flaky rolls filled with a balanced combination of shrimp, cheese, and cabbage that you can dip in duck sauce or mustard or just enjoy plain.“

I usually get an order of string beans or whatever green veg I see first, then we pick from the rotating carts. I'ma say yes to everything that has shrimp. Lol. You can request custom orders during sim sum hours, too, FYI.

I've been there at night for traditional ordering, and that was really good, as well, but I like a little bit of everything, so I love dim sum.

The food is a solid 3.5 out of 5, but the value is unbeatable, five stars for price alone. All you can eat dim sum is a rare find in the city and definitely worth checking out. “Uniquely seasoned food served promptly and pleasantly. Outdoor seating is available in a private booth design that's very 'public' since it's on the sidewalk. The interior design is remincent of authentic Chinese culture with wooden dragons carved in the wall. You can sit at the bar or sit in the main dining area. The culinary delights are streamed, gluten free or lightly fried. The chilli sauce/oil is a nice surprise it's fragrant with a hint of perfume of anise, cardamom and clove, amongst other herbs,all smothered in oils and Sichuan pepper. I highly recommend this spot.“

“Got general Tso chicken, pork fried rice and an iced tea for $10.50. No idea how they are able to charge this little but the food wasn’t bad at all. The pork fried rice was a lil blah, next time I will just get white rice. I didn’t call to order and my food took a lil while but I was very happy with the general tso chicken. Will order again.

Their Chinese Pizza (scallion pancakes) and Eggplant with Garlic Sauce is incredible! Their vegetables are so fresh. The delivery is always fast. The portions and prices are great. And they are lovely people. My parents have ordered from here for decades.“

The BBQ pork (roast pork) is stellar, with great bean paste flavors beside the usual five spice, soy, honey. “This is my favorite Chinese food restaurant around. They have the best flavor to their food that I can't describe, it's just better. Their General Tso's and Schezuan Chicken and Shrimp have a nice simple heat. The teriyaki chicken is the most amazing thing I think I've ever eaten. They have great combo meals and individual pint and quart options so it's easy to a combination of your favorite items. Prices have consistently stayed lower than competitors. This is also owned by the nicest family in town!“

Blueberry General Tso chicken - 10/10 - it is bright, light, crispy, the flavor combination really works!

Stirfry Beef - 10/10 - excellent presentation, the beef was extremely tender, the flavor profile was super savory.

The complimentary cabbage salad that they put out when you sit down was so spicy, pickley and delicious!

Bonus, they have lychee martinis on the menu!

The broth of the beef noodle soup was so rich and hot, the cold sesame noodles were the right level of spicy and very chewy, and the Chinese hamburgers were fresh, warm, and crispy on the outside/soft on the inside (try adding chili oil!) Everything came out very quickly and fed our whole table for such great prices.“

Downside is the chicken was not crispy, and it was barely in the box for 5 minutes so i know it didnt get soggy that way. Also the fried rice and egg roll were only so so. Because of the huge portion im having some of the chicken for lunch the next day, 100 percent better cold so it isn't soggy.“

Portion sizes for the entrees was medium compared to other restaurants and rice was small, im sure they'd bring more rice if needed.
