“I had been using a food delivery service off and on for the past year or so and when they went out of business, I did a deep dive to find something that was equally health centered, affordable, flexible and didn't require a weekly or monthly commitment AND had food maybe even one of my kids would touch. The nutritional facts make it super easy to know where my macros are and the portions are perfect, more than one lunch/dinner for me alone. Jesse called after the first delivery and was open to feedback and suggested some nice alternative options (i.e. I didn't always want the same veggie or rice etc). The Tuesday "sale" delivered on Weds is perfect for those of us who open the fridge after the weekend and think oops.....“

“A great choice for a Christing Party at my house .While we were all at the mass and the baptism (2hr) They came and set up a complete buffet for 25. My dining room table looked amazing. I walked into my amazing smelling house ( like it smells when I cook all day) and did nothing but eat and talk to my guests. That is priceless. The veal parm was an excellent choice as was the penne with rosa sauce. I got many compliments on the food. Bread was delicious. I will do this again. Maybe my Thanksgiving dinner?? Ha no Don't think I can get away with that one.... but definitely my next eagles party!!.“

“I recently had my wedding hosted at Lia's Catering/ Ballrooms at Boothwyn and it was the best decision we ever made!! Everything went so smoothly! We had our ceremony in their lounge room, and it fit our huge wedding guestlist so well! It was so beautiful in the ceremony room - we did an arch from Bonnie's Wonder Garden! Then we had cocktail hour in the Sapphire room - which was just outside the lounge room, so everybody loved being able to get to each room so fast! Then we had our reception in the Main Ballroom - all in the same building! Perfect for a winter wedding. Everything was so beautiful!! We were so appreciative by how nice, kind, patient the staff all are. We had a planner that took care of all of the details. Coordinating our wishes went so easily! I cannot recommend Lia's enough for hosting a wedding. Absolutely stunning - and for a much better price than overpriced venues in the area!“

“This place is a hidden Gem Reminds me of my days as a boy living in South Philly. There were great corner stores on every corner. Placed a phone order. Go there no excuses. No problem. Everything fresh, delicious and ready. The workers were friendly and helpful. This is a great place. I will be back.“

“Found myself headed to Newtown Square and immediately thought I still need to try A Cut Above! So glad I did. While I went in during the lunch hour and there were quite a few waiting, my hoagie was ready pretty quickly and was really good. I would def go again and I’d order on the app ahead, as I was a little worried the people around me were waiting longer than me.Parking: Parking was ok. Bc of the other businesses, i did park a little further, but I don’t mind a walk.“

I’m so sorry for the delay, but better late than never and I just was reminded because one of my family members just text to ask your name and she really enjoyed the food !! That jogged my memory that I never completed your review. Food was absolutely delicious, beautiful set up, provided serving and clean up! She even brought her speaker and played nice background music!! It was well worth the cost. Owner was super sweet, professional, provided great customer service and made things easier for us since we were setting up from out of state. Great service, amazing food, and the atmosphere was exactly what I wanted.As you walk in, it can be a little disorienting with so much going on but as you begin to take it in you see how important the local hero’s are. These guys care about the men and women who serve our country. The staff greeted me warmly and when they discovered it was my first time they spent time walking me through the whole menu and explaining the style of food. A gentleman gave me a coupon for a free sandwich as a gift for my first time.I ordered the pulled pork with a side of Mac and cheese. Amazing. Man did it hit! They have lemonade and sweet tea, but I mixed it half and half and my gosh. The food was literally some of the best I had. I used the mission belle and smokehouse sauce. They offer 6 hot sauces on the table. Lisa was cleaning and serving the table, she helped me so much, was very attentive, and cleaned up the table for us. I was taken back.Lisa then offered me a free dessert as a first time visitor. I’ll truly never forget the service and food and can’t wait to bring my family back.I recommend this place wholeheartedly. I had the best time and it was money well spent. The staff is responsive and well trained and so welcoming. “One of my go to spots for lunch when I am working from home. My typical order is a chicken caesar wrap (Amazing!) with a bag of chips and Diet Coke. Easy, quick, and delicious. I will often times grab a Corropolese Tomato Pie as well. Cintrellas has recently completed a beautiful renovation. Expanding into the storefront next door and offering a wider variety of food and treats. With a full menu of hoagies, cheesesteaks, deli meats, cheeses, desserts, catering trays, frozen Italian meals, and many more, this place is the perfect neighborhood deli. Staff is always extremely friendly every time I am in there. Can't wait to come back and try more that they have to offer!“

“It's not very often I go to the courthouse cafe but when I do Lorrie behind the counter is the nicest person. She probably doesn't realize how she can make people's day with her attitude considering not many people want to be at court anyway. The food and prices are great as well.“

“Calabash is another one of our frequent favorites! We stop in regularly for their Sunday brunch and BAY-BEE…They NEVER disappoint! The staff are attentive and check in throughout your dining experience to ensure you have everything you need and everyone is always so friendly.The dining and food areas are always clean and well organized. The space is large and decor is simple. This is a great open space for dining during COVID as all the tables are well spaced out allowing parties to social distance. All staff wore gloves and masks today. We loved to see Calabash doing their part in keeping their customers and staff safe.One thing about Calabash, they are always going to offer a variety of options to choose from. Choosing what to eat is the hardest part because literally everything looks so amazing. It’s all about how much space you can save in between plates. From home fries to oxtails, EVERYTHING is amazing and satisfies that Island food craving! Sunday brunch also includes bottomless mimosas and I absolutely LOVEEEE mimosas!The pancakes are fluffy and remind me of funnel cake; thy are made so perfectly every time. THIS PLACE DOES NOT MISS! The fish is always fried to a perfect golden brown and very dish is flavorful and savory.Calabash will continue to be on my list of repeats! “We used Plum Catering for my daughter's wedding and they delivered, big- time! The food was amazing and delicious, the presentation wonderful and the servers were so friendly.
