With a few weeks notice they accommodated a party of 12 mixed picky and adventurous easters for my daughter's baptism brunch and everyone walked away happy (a small miracle). This was my first visit to Miss Rachel’s Pantry, and it was outstanding from start (delectable biscuits) to finish (pineapple upside down cake with coconut ice cream). “We had our wedding reception at Ballroom at the Ben on August 31, 2024, and it was absolutely perfect. The venue is so grand and unique with its high ceilings and ornate details. We loved that cocktail hour occurs on the mezzanine overlooking the ballroom and that there were two bars on each floor. We worked with Michelle on curating our menu and finalizing our details. Ott and his staff were very accommodating and made sure everything was perfect for us and our guests. Barbara took care of us all night and made sure we were eating and enjoying our wedding. Everyone we worked with at Finley were so kind and truly wanted to make sure we had the best day ever. We ultimately decided on Finley because having delicious food at our wedding was important to us. Our guests could not stop talking about the food at cocktail hour and dinner, the desserts in the dessert room, and the service they received. It was the best decision booking with Finley because they are the best at what they do. We cannot thank them enough for making our wedding dreams come true.“

“Beautiful venue. Seriously, the pics dont do it justice. You must visit to see in person. It is an amazing space in a great location with a nice, courteous staff. There is only one reason and one reason only, I cannot give it a full 5 stars; and it is because my husband and I were not told prior that TWO OTHER EVENTS were booked and would be hosted the SAME DAY as our wedding. Although, I understand business is business, it would have been nice to have been given notice and the courtesy of being informed, as we would have been able to properly notify our own vendors (DJ, videographer) on how to proceed and work.

A photographer from one of the other events rudely interrupted our photographer literally while she was in the middle of filming just to give her pointers on how to tell us to pose. This made her very uncomfortable. I do not blame the host for this happening. But with multiple events being had at once it created an atmosphere for this uncomfortable exchange to take place. This individual should have never been able to just walk up and do this!

Also, with the venue hosting multiple events at once, it appeared to overwhelm the host a great deal. It was written all over her face and at times she seemed a bit flustered. She did apologize to us at the end of our reception and all was good. Overall, I still recommend. Just make sure to ask if other events will be hosted the same day as your event so you are not suprised like we were. Our wedding was still very beautiful. The decor was outstanding. Our videographer captured great moments, especially during the evening at sundown with the lights. Our guests had an amazing time!“

“I have always had such positive experiences with Philadelphia Catering. I work at a large University and regularly need catering services. PCC is my go-to for any/all events. They are reliable and their prices are reasonable. I’ve been working with Megan for years now on my orders and she’s wonderful! She can make a menu following my requests or budget constraints. Recently we had a department end-of-year picnic for 200 people. There was a husband and wife team that set up and serviced the event. I was impressed how well they worked together and were able to handle such a large event with just the two of them. Having employees who had worked there for years really improves the experience. I highly recommend PCC for any business or department event you may be planning!“

“Jonathan was an absolute joy to work with for our group order of 14 sandwiches for our volleyball team. He was super flexible as we weren't sure of our exact delivery time and location until 12 hours prior since we didn't know our playing schedule. Delivery was right on time and all sandwiches were accounted for and delicious! They were huge portions and definitely couldn't finish in one seating. The bread was delicious and my sandwich had a ton of turkey. An amazing value for sure! They even gave all of us extra bread pudding as an appreciation of our business (it was DELICIOUS!). We hope to return to Philadelphia in 2025 for the Northeast Qualifier Volleyball tournament so we can work with Jonathan again. Thanks a ton, Jonathan & William!“

“Our stay there was pleasant, although just for one night. We had dinner in the restaurant where I enjoyed the tasty grilled chicken with a slightly overcooked asparagus. Service though was great! The fitness Center was a nice surprise. My only setback and disappointment was the very hard pillows which deprived me of a good night's sleep. I would recommend a total pillow overhaul. Catering provided the foods and drinks. Every morsel and drop was totally delicious, and their wait staff was very knowledgeable and polite. I ate the black cod with mashed potatoes and it was so
scrumptious. Their salad was equally tasty!
I also drank a small glass of dark chocolate liqueur and a small glass of wine during the meal and of course, water. ?Decaf coffee and dessert - the wedding cake - was superb as well. Brûlée catering

One bite of this sandwich, with that wonderful Italian toasted bread with broccoli Rabe, the au jus from the slow-cooked pork, the pork, topped with sharp provolone cheese and pepperoncini peppers and you have a symphony in your mouth.“

“We chose Cricket Catering for our daughter’s wedding at the Duportail House - Chesterbrook the weekend of 10/19/24. I cannot say enough about how wonderful all of the food was. Owner/operator Drew was so easy to work with. When we first went to his facility for a tasting we were shocked by the amount of and the variety of the foods he served us, all at no cost. We sampled everything from appetizers to desserts. We chose a buffet style service which included a taco/fajita bar as well as three other entrees and side dishes. Drew was also very attentive to our guests with dietary issues. Items which were gluten free were clearly labeled as such. At the last minute we informed him of our need for two vegan meals which he prepared and served directly to those guests! What added to the event was his wonderful staff. The servers were so polite, warm, and friendly. We fell in love with them and especially the bartender!! She was the best!! Drew was also very accommodating with allowing us to bring in our own desserts, which included a waffle and ice cream food truck. Most caterers would not allow such things. Planning a wedding can be very anxiety producing, but Drew made the catering part of it as easy as can be. The guests are still raving about the food!“

“This was my first time trying Del Rossi's and the food did not disappoint! I placed a pick up order for a large party and definitely want to try a normal order next time when it's fresh. The chipotle chicken and steaks were delicious and had the right ratio of meat to cheese. If you like your cheesesteaks very cheesy, choose extra cheese. White pizza outshined the traditional but both were good. Opt for the large pizzas over the small.“
