“Delicious food. Not so friendly lady behind the deli counter nor the gentleman manning the outdoor deli bar. And on a Sunday morning!!! Hard to say if it is worth a return visit“

“I just want to recognize the staff at A Cut Above Deli. They truly are "a cut above". Short back story...my grandma was diagnosed with small cell lung carcinoma almost a year ago, October 2025. She was born in Media, Pennsylvania and spent a lot of time there with her grandparents. She turned 80 this past September and it had been over 40yrs since she was there. One thing she wanted to do before she died was go back to Pennsylvania and get a hoagie, a steak sandwich, tasty cakes and see the places she grew up. we did just that on September 13, 14 & 15. The cancer spread to her brain and words were not so easy. I believe his name was Tony, he was taking our very large order to take hoagies back to South Bend, IN, and words were hard for her. Tony was patient, kind and so caring. they all treated her as if she was their own grandma. I told Tony the impact that made because of why we were there and he asked if he could hug me and thank me for telling him her story. She talked about the entire staff multiple times on the 10hr car ride home and how they made her trip. It felt like it did when she was a little girl. Food is powerful. A Cut Above Deli was slammin' that day, but the staff didn't rush us, they didn't appear annoyed with us and they took our food to the car without even knowing the back story yet. Sadly, my grandma passed away on October 2nd at 659am, but that visit to your deli, the smile on her face, the impact you had on her, will forever be in my memory. I dont even think she ever ate her hoagies because when we got home she did nothing but sleep, but what I will tell you is that I truly believe, deep in my soul, that you fulfilled her dying wish with empathy and compassion and I will forever be grateful to the staff there. Thank you for the delicious hoagies as well because I definitely ate mine! I don't know that I'll ever make it back there, but I hope I do again one day!“

“I picked up my bag ($5.99) for Luigi and Giovanni s and was pleasantly surprised. I got chicken Parm, large mixed salad with balsamic vinaigrette and Boston cream pie worth $28. I also bought a fabulous half veggie hoagie for $0.99 and a large serving of spinach lasagna while I was there. The deli personnel were so nice! I will b back again, hopefully, with Too Good to Go deal but also for their amazing food food offerings. They even will cook your steak to order“

“We are not hosting Thanksgiving tomorrow so we wanted to try a Pilgrim hoagie from Primo's this evening. It did not disappoint. The roll was fresh and the hoagie ingredients were perfect. Delicious turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce. It's called the Pilgrim and if you ask me it's 100% better than the Bobby from Capriotti's or any copy cat from Wawa. Try it and Happy Thanksgiving to all! Great staff here btw and very clean inside.“

“I had the chance to stop into Koren's Kitchen today and was very glad I did. The atmosphere was great, the space was clean and the service was fast. I ordered at the counter and within a few minutes the food was ready to go. I did the chipotle chicken panini and the turkey chili, both had great flavor and quality serving sizes. “Last weekend Sage helped us host our wedding! We had a fairly large crowd of 135 people and we did family style catering. Cortney at Sage was our coordinator and she was absolutely amazing! She helped us create a menu that is tailored to us and when it came to setup, she nailed it from my vision. Cortney and the rest of the Sage crew worked with my venue (The Farm and Bakery) and made my vision come to life all around. Now the food! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! We chose 2 meats, chicken and filet mignon and wow, all of the comments about the food was unreal! I’ve been to several weddings and I must say personally the best “wedding” food I’ve ever tasted as well. With family style you can serve yourself how ever much or little as you want. “Daniel Israel catered our Friday night Shabbat dinner; it was outstanding. 100% Glatt Kosher. We chose a vegan , Israeli style dinner, as many guests were vegan or vegetarian, plus it was June, and very hot outside. What a fabulous, tasty, fresh, and colorful meal. Daniel was a pleasure to work with, and always communicated immediately to all of our million requests. His staff were professional, timely, and all smiles. The set up was tasteful with flowers, some greenery, and no fuss details. I cannot recommend Daniel more highly; he made our simcha complete and worry free. We also had a lot of left-overs, which we divided between our children, and ate heartily for a week!!
Standouts: Gazpacho, home made chummus, moist falafel, wild rice with mushrooms, tabouli with pomegranate (and other lovely things!), apple cobbler.

Last minute had to plan an event, called and spoke with Mike the owner- I was frazzled and didn’t know what they could do with 4 days notice so I said “anything!” Within minutes Mike put together a suggestion with pricing and sent it over. “My partner and I got married here in Fall '26, and had an excellent experience! Chelsea Allen (Event Coordinator), Michael (Sales), and the entire team made the process smooth. If you want a gorgeous, garden wedding, great food, and zero day-of-coordination stress — this is the place.

Venue: I searched the tri-state area extensively for a venue that could hold ~150 guests, had nature, had a solid rain backup plan, had some non-Western food options and wouldn’t break the bank. This place checked every box and is one of the few. It's wheelchair-accessible, easy to reach from PHL, and close to several hotels — important for our many out-of-town guests. The base package included catering, tables, linens, and other items that add up fast at more DIY venues. For us, the time-saving and stress of not having to, for example, remember to rent silverware was worth the peace of mind.

Staff & Coordination: Chelsea Allen was key to making our wedding day stress-free. We didn't have to think about logistics once on the day itself — and the venue's detailed pre-wedding planning document ensured every last detail was understood and accounted for well in advance.The team accommodated all non-traditional requests without hesitation: unusual number of vegetarian guests, non-standard formal dances, and more. Michael in Sales stood out as one of the few sales people already familiar with Indian wedding elements, and he was patient and thorough throughout the entire contract process with our many, many questions. Bonus: The day-of staff made sure we never had an empty glass and sent portions of the cocktail hour bites and dessert to us so we didn’t miss out.

Food: Food was delicious! The menu also goes beyond standard Western wedding fare, which we loved. We didn’t personally try this, but they can even accommodate serving Indian food not on the standard menu (at an added cost) — a rarity among similar venues, most of which can’t do it or charge a steep premium to bring in outside vendors.

Practical Tips:
-Before signing the contract, review the full breakdown of what's included and request prices for any upgrades that are important to you (upgraded plateware, premium linens, specialty food items etc.). No surprises that way.
-Bridal Suite food must be ordered through the venue. You can review the menu and costs before signing. In the end, this was an inconsequential cost in our wedding budget.
-Easels for signs and table number holders aren't provided (but everything else is!). Plan on bringing your own — I'd suggest Pomme keep these in stock!

Overall, a fantastic experience and a venue we'd recommend without hesitation!

“We chose Cricket Catering for our daughter’s wedding at the Duportail House - Chesterbrook the weekend of 10/19/24. I cannot say enough about how wonderful all of the food was. Owner/operator Drew was so easy to work with. When we first went to his facility for a tasting we were shocked by the amount of and the variety of the foods he served us, all at no cost. We sampled everything from appetizers to desserts. We chose a buffet style service which included a taco/fajita bar as well as three other entrees and side dishes. Drew was also very attentive to our guests with dietary issues. Items which were gluten free were clearly labeled as such. At the last minute we informed him of our need for two vegan meals which he prepared and served directly to those guests! What added to the event was his wonderful staff. The servers were so polite, warm, and friendly. We fell in love with them and especially the bartender!! She was the best!! Drew was also very accommodating with allowing us to bring in our own desserts, which included a waffle and ice cream food truck. Most caterers would not allow such things. “I picked up my order at catering and SARAH served me. She was pleasant, friendly and very helpful. It was raining. In my rush to put the bags in my car, I forgot my phone in the cart. I only realized it hours later. Panicked, I went back to customer service and it was not there.
I decided to go back to Sarah since she had been so nice to me earlier. Sarah remembered my name immediately and took matters in hand right away. In minutes, she called the helping hands and signaled the lost object. Later on, I was called and ANDREA from customer service gave me the phone back.
