“A delayed flight sent us down the street for a night. The closest restaurant to your hotel was closed so we took a long shot on Ray's. We WON big time. Great food, super hospitality in a district primed for a major renaissance. We wish the Chester community the best and look forward to tasting more from Ray's.“

“Came in for brunch,We were seated immediately. The waitress was friendly and very attentive to our needs. We had drinks on the table in a flash. She took our order and made sure that we had everything we needed before the food arrived. The food was fast and tasty, not much more to say, but it was very cost-effective. Jackie was outstanding in making sure we were happy and had everything we needed from start to finish. I had the French Toast and my wife had a Roast Beef Sandwich on a super fresh roll. “Nice place with a friendly staff. Love the atmosphere and the food was good. The location is both very convenient and inconvenient. It's right off of route 1, which makes finding it super easy. But getting out of the parking lot is not easy due to the traffic. Still, great place.Parking: Difficult to pull put of lot during daytime hours. Best to make a right turn out and turn around at the gas station, just to be safe“

“Yesterday we ate here for the first time! I pass by here everyday on the way to work so I was definitely on board to try Safe after my mom suggested it! The menu was filled with such great choices but as soon as I saw the seafood selection I knew what I wanted. My mom and I both got the broiled scallops which were DELISH! “We are from York pa, whenever I visit the area to see my father, we have to have Gateway breakfast before getting back on the road to come home. Western omelet, meatlover omelet and eggs benedict are my favorites so far. Wife loves their chipped beef gravy. Can't wait till the next Philadelphia visit. I'd highly recommend this place.... Servers are friendly, and service is good.Vegetarian options: The main item is a veggie wrap, but of course, you have pastas with marinara sauce, and if you eat dairy, there's a selection of breakfasts and sandwiches including eggs and/or cheese.Parking: Plenty of outdoor parking behind the building.Wheelchair accessibility: It's accessible but you will need assistance with the doors, and the bathrooms are very small. “The food here is delicious. The pancakes tasted like it was made with cake batter. Now, the pancakes aren’t overwhelmingly sweet but just right. The French toast platter with egg and turkey sausage was a hit too. The diner is traditional old school not like the diners you see today. Upon entry you will see an old fashioned juke box. “I went to have lunch here today an everything was just perfect. I had an old fashioned grilled cheese but I like bacon on mine. I'm very picky when it comes to my bacon an I told the server Anna just how I wanted it and it came out just how I liked. My server Anna was amazing. She was super sweet payed attention to detail checked on us multiple times. All while having like 5 more tables including a 12 top. The atmosphere here was very welcoming. I will definitely be coming back.“

“I am so thankful that this restaurant came up as a sponsored restaurant on Uber Eats. I saw that the estimated delivery time was only 15 minutes and not too far from my house, so I decided to give it a try! I ordered the Chicken Cheesesteak Combo with french fries, provolone cheese, and fried onions. I also ordered the Mango Raspberry Lemonade. The food was made and already on its way SUPER quickly which I was impressed by. When I received the food, my drink was in an adorable small bag which perfectly fit the drink, and it even had a tamper-free seal on top! When I opened my bag, I saw a cute little note from the restaurant thanking me for ordering (and it had my name which made it even more personal, so lovely!) I also was given a complimentary fruit cup which I didn't realize I was receiving which was great! Now let's talk about the food: The Mango Raspberry Lemonade was absolutely delicious! I at first was a little nervous because the picture on Uber Eats makes it appear more red (perhaps predominantly raspberry), but my drink was more orange (more predominantly mango). But it tastes absolutely delicious and I love that there's no pulp or pieces of floating fruit inside. The chicken cheesesteak was the BEST chicken cheesesteak I've ever had (not even exaggerating). It had a slight spice to it which was really good! I also loveddd the fries, I think they were double battered? They had a perfect crunch! I absolutely will order from here again!!!“

“Though the food is always great the real reason we keep coming back is because of Batman(Ron) he is the beat reason to go in the mornings. He is so personable and always has a great attitude. If he's not there we will head somewhere else he makes that much of an impact.“
