He had veal parmigiana w linguine & salad. I had pappardelle bolognese w italian wedding soup. The bread was warm w oil for dipping & the entrees served hot as they should be. (it was obvious that nothing was sitting waiting to come out of the kitchen)

The waitstaff are super friendly & attentive and the cocktails- a bloody mary & tiramisu martini were excellent!

Dessert was brownie ala mode w a candle & song for hubs, and tiramisu for me.

Despite the size of our party, our single waitress handled everything with remarkable efficiency and professionalism. She managed all our drink and food orders promptly, and every item arrived hot, fresh, and perfectly prepared.

We ordered a variety of appetizers, entrees, pizzas, drinks, and desserts, and everything was served in well-timed stages. No one waited too long, and the quality of the food was outstanding—every dish was delicious. Not a single person in our group left hungry or disappointed.

Side of Pork for 2 and 1 meatballs were so delicious. The pork melted in your mouth and the meatballs were great. The sauces are a favorite and the Portions are plentiful. There is a small percentage added on for take out, but it's all well worth it. They are also cash only.“

My girlfriends and I met here for a girls night over the weekend and every single one of the four of us had nothing but great things to say about the whole evening. The service vibes were IMMACULATE; from the hostess, to the server, to the bartender, everyone added a positive energy to the restaurant. The food and drinks.. MY GAWD. We ordered quite a bit of food for the four of us to share, and there was not one single thing that we didn’t love; seriously, we talked about how good the food was for hours to everyone any anyone who would listen. Decor falls between original 1970s and a little updated - but that was charming and likely kept prices so reasonable. The place was quite busy for an afternoon lunch and service prompt and attentive enough! Highly recommend - we will be back to try more. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked great!“

“A nice little place that has been in the downtown for close to 20 years. You enter through the bar that is roomy while also having hightop tables. When entering main dining, the first thing we noticed was the piano player, which is a super-cool touch! He played some fun songs, including some of his own, cracked jokes, and also interacted with the crowd while not being intrusive at all. My wife and I each got a martini (Dirty Gin for her and Honey Nut Cheerio for me) and both were delicious. As an appetizer, we got Eggplant Melanzane, which was light, had great flavor, and a delicious vodka sauce. My better half had a Caesar salad with probably the best Caesar dressing we have ever had. I went with the gorgonzola salad that had a nice, tart raspberry vinaigrette. For our entrees, she had the chicken special, which featured thin chicken breast and portobello mushrooms in a port wine sauce, topped with gorgonzola. It was very earthy and deep, a worthy special. I had the Pollo Sambuca, which is the same thin chicken breast with shrimp and mushrooms in a creamy sambuca sauce. It was very flavorful and slightly sweet. The anise is there, but not distracting. This was a solid meal! Our server, Thellenza, was attentive and informative. She made sure we understood all of the specials and took care of anything we asked. The rest of the staff is also helpful, too, and we were never in need of anything for long at all. The adult beverages that we enjoyed were definitely tasty, we just wish they had more of a wine and beer selection. Food: 9 Service: 10 Atmosphere: 10 Adult Drink Selection: 8 Overall: 9.25“

“Our family ordered the sweet sauce pizza and the hot honey pepperoni. They were both round. The dough was fresh and cooked to perfection. The hot honey pepperoni pizza blended so well and gave it an amazing combined flavor. The sweet sauce pizza was a delight. I ordered the Philly chicken cheesesteak on a wrap and it was loaded with flavor. The portion of the wrap was significantly larger than any wrap I’ve ever had. We also tried the mild honey garlic wings. The wings were very large and crispy. Overall this was an excellent experience for our family and we intend to return as regular customers.“

“What a wonderful visit we had. Myself and two daughters enjoyed the breadsticks and salad, which were delicious and accompanied by 3 entrees, which were wonderful. However, the best part by far of our visit was the waitress Rena. I never met a more friendly, but not over the top waitress. “We lucked upon this place after late arrival at one of the many chain hotels surrounding. Marguerita pizza was crispy and sauce excellent. Salads large and fresh. Italian wedding soup was definitely homemade., Bonus of fireworks at minor league baseball park below. We had a great young woman serve us- off to Goldsboro, NC next couple months with her soon-to-be husband and his military training. Just a delightful energy. She was very excited about attending the Marine ball--which we have seen and is a beautiful event. We pray for her future success and she definitely has a very bright future ahead of her!“
