“The Nyx bar is a refreshing bar that serves unique and great drinks. My favorite drink at the moment is the pear martini and the orange crush (which they use fresh squeezed orange juice). The vibe in the bar is very welcoming and comfortable to be in. The bartenders are so attentive and respectful one of them sierra was making 4 drinks while taking an order and she got it all correct.

Now the food is were it gets better. My favorite thing to eat so far is the penne and vodka pasta and the garlic parm wings. Unfortunately didn’t get a pic of the pasta but those wings are to die for. Would recommend this place.

“I had the miso glazed Black cod tonight. I had lamb last night and salmon and ahi tuna the nights before. Awesome menu. Black cod is my favorite fish and I guarantee I am the only person writing a review that worked on a black cod catcher/processor in the Bering Sea. While BC is popular in Hawaii where it is called butterfish, I think the pineapple rice is a mistake. The sweetness overpowers the flavors. I’d serve this fish with kale and mashed potatoes and kalamata olives. Let those Omega fatty fats shine through! Miso is fine, but fruits not needed. I also had a fantastically affordable dry red flight before dinner. Love Harvest.“

“This is a classic, great spot. It is not a regular place for us but it's worth the drive. It has been around for years but they always keep it fresh! It never disappoints! The food menu has something for everyone and has unique offerings. The whiskey, beer and drink menu will have you coming back to try something new every time! We happened to stop in during their Octoberfest and I enjoyed the wurst platter with rotkohl and spätzle. 👌“

“Scrantons own hidden gem! Served a delicious sausage and cheese omlete with homefries cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside, soft and warm inside. When asked about gluten free bread they were extremely accommodating, and toasted a gluten free roll to go with my breakfast. Service was great. No frills diner, great service and food. Price is right.“

“Came here for the Halloween party, it was so much fun and the service was so friendly. A miller light draft was only 3.60!! I don’t know if that’s everyday but we went on a Friday, very rarely do you see a miller for that cheap. My friend got wings too and loved them. Bartenders were busy but they were super friendly.“

“Beautiful restaurant within the Radisson Lackawanna hotel. Reservations are suggested although we were the only 2 people eating from 6pm-7pm on a Saturday evening. I believe it was because the hotel was hosting a large party and most of the guests were probably there. The evening prior, the restaurant was full. We were served quickly and our drinks were brought along with warm bread and butter. We ordered pasta and crab cakes and our meals came out quickly. Everything was so hot, fresh and tasty. My scallops were tender and my cousin enjoyed the lump crab meat in her crab cakes and vegetables. Dessert was a delectable warm creme brulee. Prices were fair. We would definitely recommend dining here.“

Impressive service by our bartender, watching her multitask a busy Friday night. Other support staff worked like a well oiled machine, bringing food orders from the back kitchen, taking orders, prepping tables…so service could be executed smoothly.
**** Trax Classic, loaded grilled burger done just as ordered with their thick and crispy house-made chips. Don’t bother counting calories.
***** Station Signature Misto salad was enjoyed by my husband.
Coming from out of town the prices were reasonable. Portions were filling and the indoor atmosphere was cozy with dark woods, a beautiful chandelier and reminders of a by gone era in this historic hotel. There are large screen TVs scattered throughout the dining area for the sports fans to enjoy. History buffs would enjoy seeing old photos showing how this huge train depot was utilized for passengers and cargo.
They can prepare your meal to go, we were staying at the hotel and ordered by a direct call line to their staff and the bill could be charged to your room or paid up front.
I saw a mix of both locals and visitors having a moment to enjoy their meals. Parking is easy, they keep late night hours too. We enjoyed our meals so much, we had it again before we left to travel home.“

“I got 2 trays of red pizza with anchovies & the pizza was Absolutely Scrumptious. Pizza was phenomenal. Loved it! Everything was perfect even though I ordered out. Order was ready when I got there & just the smell, I couldn't wait to get home to have a piece. Sheer Perfection.“
