“Today I stopped at The Hungry A. I have driven buy there many times. As I walked in the owners and people in there all greeted me like they know me. I had a coffee and it was one of the best I ever had. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. I will be be back. But what really got to me I walk with a cane and one of the girls there saw I was having a hard time she came around the counter and took what I was carrying and helped me to my car. Today there are not many people that are kind as she was. It made me know that there is still kind people in this world. If every would take the time to be kind to someone just once maybe it could be a start to make this world just a little better“

“I went to The Coffee Station again for breakfast on Sunday and had a great experience. The food was good, but what really stood out was our waitress, Denise. She’s like an old-time waitress in the best way—friendly, attentive, and she makes you feel truly appreciated. She goes above and beyond and makes the whole place feel like home. “I read all the positive reviews and had to check it out for myself. I have always found it difficult to find something as simple as a good breakfast place. But this time i found it! The second I walked in, I was impressed. The hostess greeted me immediately and with a smile. I asked if I should order now and she smiled and explained that she'd take my order and she'll bring it to me. It was very pleasant. The store itself is clean and bright. I ordered two eggs medium, sausage patties,home fries with peppers and onions, rye toast with a little butter and a medium coffee. Everything was made exactly as I ordered it. A Philly staple. The cheese steak. Everyone complains about portions nowadays where you go. That's just the world we live in today, but the portion of fries, which by the way were some of the best fries I've EVER had! It taste so fresh. Hot, golden and the crispiness was on point! The cheese steak had the right amount of meat, cheese, onions and seasoning to bread ratio! Chef's kiss! The bread was toasted on the inside that had that crunch goodness to it. Come here for their breakfast! Then come back later for their lunch! You won't be disappointed! Shout out to the hostess! She was amazing! Very polite and professional!

“Best breakfast sandwiches in west. And I specifically say sandwiches because the “breakfast Joint” ‘s platters is something crazy. But I choose Lees for my breakfast sandwiches only. This place was amazing 10/10 !! I just hate to wait in the store after I already placed my order. But it’s worth it. I had issues with some of my Canadian cards not working to pay and I felt bad causing a bother during busy breakfast hours. I had fond memories of going to Hanne’s (the breakfast nook located in this storefront when I was growing up), and when Hanne’s closed, I was so sad thinking that my children would never have the experience of frequenting a regular breakfast spot where they were welcomed and known and well fed. “Just did a Uber Eats from them and the food was excellent as well as the packaging. I used to go here more regularly but since I've adhered to my culture/religion more, I avoided places that served pork. Today under certain circumstances I ordered from them but I really wished they at least had some halal breakfast meats. Considering the demographic changes in the neighborhood, a no pork policy would definitely benefit their business. The local mosque would also promote it to their 5k+ local adherents. “Being as though I lived in this neighborhood my entire life, I can say that I have never seen this business fall off. They have been a staple since I was young and more than likely beyond that.

The food is the exact type of breakfast food you are looking for. Nothing is over cooked or over seasoned. The food is so good, I find it hard to eat the entire platter at times. It is located in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood, so the environment may not be appealing to some. However, there is no denying or questioning their food and the quality.

Parking: The store is located on a corner. The only place you can't park are the bus stops. However, you can park across the street, behind the bus stops, and along the side the diner.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs to enter, simply a small ramp. Additionally, tables are low and you can rearrange them to fit your needs.“
