“I used to go to JJJ regularly when I lived in Lancaster. I moved to Delaware in 2020, and this was my first time back to JJJ since then - and it was as good as I remember, perhaps even better! I love the atmosphere in the bar (although the drink pours could stand to be a little heavier). Our server, Bill, was excellent. He took a lot of time to review the menu and share more details about some of the dishes, and he made some great recommendations. His service was very attentive and the food was outstanding. It came out piping hot and was presented beautifully. Bill offered dessert, but we were stuffed!“

“This place is very nice, but the mac n cheese should be avoided. Portion was smaller than anticipated and the flavor was very bland. Also not a fan of the corn that was added in there. Apps were great, drinks were great, just should've avoided the Mac n cheese.“

“We were seated in the outdoor area, which was beautifully landscaped. The server was friendly and accommodating. My husband ordered a burger and a Hop Hog IPA, both of which were great. I ordered the fettuccine. It’s described as a creamy pesto sauce with house made baked tomatoes (like sun dried) which would give it a more concentrated flavor. But when the server delivered it I couldn’t see any tomatoes so I asked the server about it and she said she could bring me some. 10 minutes later she brought a small bowl of blistered cherry tomatoes. By then I had already started eating it and though the sauce was tasty, it was kind of bland. Adding the tomatoes helped but it really needs the concentrated taste of sun-dried, not fresh tomatoes. Crushed chili peppers would have been an improvement. I was disappointed in the lack of attention by the kitchen in getting it wrong twice, and by the long wait time. The server apologized for the wait but it would have been appropriate to knock a few bucks off the bill.“

I have been coming every week with my mentor and awesome friend to get caught up and to break bread together over the past year. The owners are so kind and friendly. “I held a private luncheon on a Saturday afternoon for 30 people. Mick responded promptly when I made an online inquiry. The room and food were prepared to perfection. The service was excellent, the room and tables were clean, and the food was delicious. It was nice to have the outdoor area for the little kids to get a break and play. We had reserved the room for two hours, and some guests were slow to leave. The staff was patient and did not rush us out the door. I highly recommend Mick’s in Willow Street.“
